I get that. I think the immediate impact Pouncey had a couple years ago has dispelled some of that, plus DeCastro has the film and he's tested outstanding. Hard to argue.

I can see him going that high. It's more a matter of thinking about all of the other options and positions the Chiefs could go with there... And it's like "Man, I know DeCastro would really help this team a lot, but an OG? That's so lame."

But it seems like the first ten picks are all but scripted at this point and we're probably looking at Kuechly, RT, and maybe DeCastro if he's even available at that point.

Gone will be:
Luck
RG3
Kalil
Richardson
Claiborne
Blackmon
Coples
Tannehill
Poe
Upshaw

And with those guys gone, who do you want? I'd be leaning towards Reiff or Kuechly, myself. Depends on free agents.

Luck, RG3, Blackmon, Kalil, and Claiborne are the only slam dunks to be off the board in the top 10. Coples might fall. Tannehill might make it out of the top 10. Upshaw isn't a slam dunk top 10 talent. Richardson is, but RBs aren't taken that high. Poe could go anywhere between 5 and 20, no one knows.

It isn't as clear cut as you seem to think.
