Default Ring of honor.

This is the worst time ever to bring this up, but it has kind of irritated me for a while and I wanted to see if anyone else had an upset stomach over it.

Charles Haley in the Ring of Honor. Jerry said there would not have been the last three superbowls without him. I don't understand why he got in. To me, Bill Bates, Moose Johnston and Jay Novacek personify the Dallas Cowboys. But to me, Bill Bates should be in and it is a no brainer. He changed the Pro Bowl ballot system, and seemed to be a cowboy all the way.

Wrong time for this, but it might be a good change of pace until 3 pm.

I think the ring of honor should be reserved for those "special" players we had. While I'm not saing Moose, Haley, Bates and Novacek weren't special, they just weren't ring of honor players in mind.

I think Moose is definitely ROH material. Novacek and Bates aren't, but Moose was a huge part in that dominant running game. Here is who should be in the Ring of Honor from the 90's to me:

Erik Williams
Nate Newton
Darren Woodson
Moose
and obviously the others who have already made it

Right now Ware is the obvious Hall of Famer and Ring of Honor guy on the team. Don't know if anyone else in the 2000s would make it besides Witten. Newman has a solid case, but would be a no go. He was great, but not special to be ROH status.

I'll be bold and say that Tyron Smith will be ROH material. I can't express how much I love that guy. He's got it all!

Larry Allen, Flozell Adams, Jason Witten, Tony Romo.

All will or have been put in from the 2000 period.

One guy I would love to get in but won't. Dat Nguyen.

Bates and Novacek > Moose to me... I love Moose, but those other two are more worthy IMO... Wish all could go, though!
