Just found out Rex Grossman is actually Rex Grossman III. RG3.

Good move for him. Get in the WCO system and away from our complex system. I think he will be productive in a simpler system.

Yeah, slants to Mario should be to his benefit.

Earlier this month, we pointed out that CAA’s representation of quarterback Peyton Manning could at some point clash with CAA’s representation of starting quarterbacks for teams that covet Peyton Manning.
With CAA client Alex Smith possibly out in the cold in San Francisco due to the Niners’ presence in the Peyton chase, Smith may be making a change. Kevin Lynch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Smith is contemplating hiring a new agent.

Manningham has always reminded me a lot of Antonio Freeman, and he did pretty good in the WCO (even if his deflected body-catches accounted for a lot of interceptions). Get a QB who can rifle slants into Manningham, and he's good to go.

And this signing adds credence to the thought that Michael Crabtree will be moved to the slot. Bonus.

Just jerked it to Katie Daryl.
So no more starting WRs available in free agency? Seems like everyone left would be kind of a stretch as a viable starter.

I can actually see this if Smith signs a small enough deal, insurance in case Peyton gets hurt. Any news on how Kaepernick is looking?

OC Greg Roman mentioned that Kaepernick did everything right as a rookie and that he improved every day.
Does that mean anything? No.

No faith in TP!? Haha no doubt we need a veteran back up but Smith might be too pricey for us.

Might be a problem when your backup is worlds better than your starting QB.

I take what ever Palmer did last year with a grain of salt. He joined a team mid season and he wasn't playing before the trade.
