Scott's 10 Senior Bowl Player Rule
Scott Wright says that on average, 10 players who participated in the Senior Bowl week, will be drafted in round 1, practically every year.
I'm going to go back over my notes and pick my top 10 likely 1st rounders, what 10 do you think have a shot????

Below are my predictions assuming that the average of ten get picked:
QB Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M
WR Michael Floyd, Notre Dame
OT Mike Adams, Ohio St.
OG Cordy Glenn, Georgia
DT Devon Still, Penn St.
DE Quinton Coples, North Carolina
DE Melvin Ingram, South Carolina
DE Courtney Upshaw, Alabama
CB Janoris Jenkins, North Alabama
FS Mark Barron, Alabama
Some other possibilities (strongest chances in bold):
QB Kirk Cousins, Michigan St.
QB Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma St.
RB Doug Martin, Boise St.
WR Kendall Wright, Baylor
OT Kelechi Osemele, Iowa St.
OG Kevin Zeitler, Wisconsin
DT Alameda Ta'amu, Washington
DE Andre Branch, Clemson
DE Jared Crick, Nebraska
LB Zach Brown, North Carolina
CB Brandon Boykin, Georgia
SS Harrison Smith, Notre Dame

But you didn't have Janoris Jenkins going in the first round in your mock. You should swap him with Zach Brown who you did have going in the first.

I certainly considered it although I think there are more teams who could go Jenkins, whereas the number of teams interested in Brown will be lower considering positional value. I could see someone trading up or down for Jenkins. Carolina, Dallas, Cincinnati (twice), Detroit, New England (twice), and San Francisco are some possibilities. Maybe even Cleveland at #22.

Didn't Tannehill, Floyd, Still, Barron, Wright, and Crick not actually end up playing at the Senior Bowl? Not sure that they should count. Really good list list other than that though.

As noted, several did not practice or play. Of the others, in order of likelihood: Brandon Weeden, Kendall Wright, Zach Brown, Andre Branch.

Still was there and practiced, but got injured right before the game. I would say that the practices are more important than the game, but I don't know.

He has a shot at the first round, but far from a lock IMO.

They also lost a center who needs to be replaced.

You know I love Bill Bentley, but first round seems out of his reach still.

Didn't have the time to get into this in the podcast but Zeitler is prob not a first rounder and the reason being he didn't look good at center. as a straight up guard he needs to be Decastro or Iupati to get into the round. He isn't that level of player. Great prospect but not a 1st rounder JMO.

there's a glut of late1/early2 CB guys and the difference could be a few slots (I'd consider Hosely, Robinson, Dennard, Boykin etc in that same category)
4.43 at Indy is very legit. People are sleeping on how well he played and how well he worked out.

let me also add Andre Branch and Vinny Curry to the list. I could see either sneaking into the rd late. Branch fits well with GB and SF, Curry fits well with NE or NYG.
