How does Anthony Davis rank compared to previous #1 NBA draft prospects? Elite?

Absolutely elite. Best defensive big man prospect since Oden, but no health concerns. I'd rank him behind Rose but on par with Griffin for best #1 since Dwight.

Thomas Robinson is playing so damn hard but he's really been exposed offensively, and really has been all tournament.

I liked Durant quite a bit more than Oden; or for that matter, any of them. I thought that he should have gone #1. Swingmen with 7'5" wingspans, who can step in as freshmen and average 26 points and 11 boards a game don't come along very often.
I agree on everything else. Davis is clearly elite, and I'd put him ahead of Griffin.

Kansas sucks offensively and Kentucky is too strong offensively. I knew this wasn't going to be a pretty game.
KU is great at coming back but they haven't played a team this talented all tournament. Meh.

As a prospect Blake Griffin is a better rebounder, stronger, and probably a bit more developed offensively, Davis is definitely one of the best shot blockers in a long long time, probably best college shotblocker since Emeka Okafor, and his length and athleticism is freakish.

I downgrade Davis as a prospect because of his brow.

Personally, I'm upset that we have to look at that ugly ass face for the next decade+. Shave that god damn brow. It's downright disrespectful for fans who have to look at you.

It really wouldn't be hard. You get up in the morning, take a shower, look in the mirror, shave your face, shave your unibrow...BOOM, nobody is having these conversations.

His parents are ugly people too. They've shown them like 10 times every game during the tournament. His dad needed braces in the worst way, he'll probably have health problems as a result of how terrible his teeth are when hes older. The first thing Davis should do when he goes pro is surgically alter his brow and get his dad those invisa-line braces.

Oh boy, Anthony Davis should be glad that basketball exists. Listening to him speak is a chore.

Hey. The one 3 he hit this tournament was in the championship game....
But seriously. The talent disparity between the teams is ridiculous. And KU's inability to shoot the 3 made this game not even remotely in question. The only team that had a chance against Kentucky is a team loaded with 3 point shooters that happened to get hot.

Clearly. I am just saying, unless you have another NBA roster to compete with them, the only way you are beating them is by catching fire behind the arc. Which Kansas was never going to do. Their only chance was Calipari blowing it.

I don't even really care, 30 other teams could have won it and had cheating scandals come out in the next couple years. Everyone cheats. Calipari is just probably the best at it.

I have no issues with the UK players, just their cheating coach and their incestuous fans. Hated Calipari since he was at Memphis. And the argument that everyone cheats is a bit ridiculous, I guess that makes it okay?
