Casserly, Lombardi, and Mayock are all I listen to. The rest of those guys are just background noise. It's all better than ESPN though. EsPN is just garbage.

I like Casserly and Mayock myself, Lombardi was a GM but Al Davis made all the calls for Oakland so his experience is limited. Davis isn't too bad and seems to do his homework but the rest are just background noise.

Charlie Casserly just said that when comparing players he doesn't look at what position is more valuable, he looks at who's going to go to the most pro bowls...

Not to mention La Confora. Most of the players they have know the game and how to play it, but are poor at analyzing and scouting talent and add little value as speakers

It seems Mayock is the only person you can truly believe or value his opinion. Thoughts on whether it's still reliable or not?
Haha, it's more reliable than any other football shows i've seen. Mayock knows his ****.

Sapp is having a bad few weeks. First there was the caused by claiming Jeremy Shockey was the snitch on the Saints. Now he's been declared bankrupt and his contract expires in August with NFLN. I'm no legal expert but does bankruptcy protect him from making any payouts should Shockey sue and win his case against him?

And Sapp also claims to have lost his Super Bowl ring. Well, he had it on Jan 22nd this year when Rich Eisen tweeted these photos from the NFL Network studios.

Now could he have genuinely lost it in the last 2 1/2 months? Of course, but this smells a bit fishy.

Just watched Path to the Draft and heard Charles Davis mock draft.

A few things, he had the Browns taking Blackmon at #4 AND Stephen Hill at #22.

He had the Cardinals taking Fletcher Cox to improve interior pass rush. Cox would be horrible as a NT and they have Campbell and Dockett.

I agree with you. I dislike Mayock also and it seems like a lot of people like him because of the way he comes off. It's sort of like giving an answer confidently even though you're full of crap so the person believes you.

Hey guys, please feel free to disagree with and debate the merits of other NFL Draft Analysts opinions, but let's steer clear of the personal attacks and name calling.

If a scout does that it shows either a lack of confidence or a fear of his boss. I would think most good managers want to hear good ideas from staff and the conviction behind it. If wrong then so be it. These scouts get paid FOR their opinions so if i was a GM i would want them to speak up and have solid convictions. There are some jobs where you have to accept you will be wrong sometimes and a scout would be one of them.

I actually really like the opinion of Kiper, Mayock & McShay. All three are really good. Although Mayock is the only one working for NFLN.
