i guess a center goes to guard and vice versa once in a while but "all the time" is collegiate tackles moving to guard because they cant cut it at tackle in the pros. Id say most NFL guard played tackle in college.

Could he? My guess is it would work, but he'd probably be much better as an OG. I doubt a team would want to draft him in the 1st round to train him at a different position than he's used to.

I'd say it is about 50/50, he ends up at OC, a far more important position on a football team. Very hard to justify drafting him top 15 as an OG. The Pouncey's could both play OG but their teams put them at OC because it is more important position.

Thing with DeCastro is his strength is pulling not battling big guys in the trenches. How did it work out leaving John Hannah at guard for the Patriots?

The game of pro football has changed, running the ball has become a secondary option for most teams and an OC is simply considered more important and harder to find than an OG. It will depend on who drafts DeCastro and whether or not they want to throw the ball as their 1st option.
