Top 100 Contest

Well, after my disappointing performance in this year's Mock Draft contest I finished third in the Top 100 contest. Missed first place by just a couple of prospects! I also have the second highest five year average, which certainly speaks well for my year to year consistency.

As I say every year, this is the contest that I am most proud of my performance in. I say that because a single trade can screw up any mock, but the Top 100 contest is an indicator of my evaluation skills. With my rankings I stack the board as if I was running a team, not necessarily how I think the players will be chosen. For example, I had Washington DT Alameda Ta'amu as a first rounder even though I understood there was no way he'd actually be selected that early.

Very cool stuff, but let us be honest, people cheat off others rankings, use others to base there stuff on and change little things around. It would be far more impressive to have a top 100 completely original without any knowledge of what others are saying or how others are ranking players. Going into it blind a little but would be impressive but hard to do that in this day and age of technology.

Still very impressive on your part though, congrats, clearly have that part of the game figured out.



Some might rip on Mel Kiper when he gets rated low on things like this, fact is he is the only one that is getting paid millions and is famous for doing this, not any of these other guys, no offense.

If you had my previous post in mind, I wasn´t ripping on Kiper. Just thought it was fun, that I got a few more picks right than him this year.
