I'm both happy and pissed at the Aviles trade now. Aviles is just tearing it the **** up in Boston now. Theoretically, the Royals really don't have a place for Aviles anyway, but it just sucks to watch a guy get traded for scraps and then go perform elsewhere with regular at-bats that he wasn't getting on a bad team.

good pick by Dayton Moore and the scouting department. Zimmer has high upside with everything you look for in a front of the line starter. 4 pitches, good command of them all, ++ fastball (baseball america said it was the best in college baseball this year), he has good size and he hasn't worn down his arm pitching for years. i like this pick because he has all the talent to be a good pitcher and he is on the fast track @ only 20 years old
