That's called the throw **** on a wall and see what sticks approach to solving your problem.
We do the same thing with our LB core for the most part.

I think Shanny saw us trading one of them once the season started. Obviously he couldnt do that or attempt to once they injuries started happening.

Johnny Jolly is out of prison. He served six months of a six year sentence, and is out on something called "Shock Probation."
I don't know if he's a free agent or if the Packers still have his rights, but he wouldn't be a bad signing for a team if he can get reinstated, and if the team doesn't mind taking a risk. He's been out of the league for two years, but he had Pro Bowl talent before the cough syrup got in the way.

Served 6 months of a 6 year sentence. This won't help the argument that celebrities and sports personalities get special treatment in the legal system.

A former rich guy once told me: "I suggest becoming a millionaire." I wasn't in any type of trouble, that was just his general advice.

Drew Brees isn't happy: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ct-a-priority/
My guess is that Brees wants more years and more guaranteed money than the Saints are willing to offer him.

Is New Orleans strapped for cash or something? I know their cap situation this offseason wasn't too great, but this is a franchise quarterback that will be paid over a good amount of years.
Really, even if Brees is asking for an insane amount of money, record-breaking or not, I don't see why a stalemate has lasted this long. For New Orleans, a team that has been the NFL's doormat for the majority of it's existence...they are getting dangerously close to being in that situation again.
Just pay the man, and get him rollin with the franchise. Isn't it about time for some good news in the bayou?

Ryant Grant looked pretty good towards the end of the season. Somebody will sign him.
Also, I just googled "Ryan Grant" and the right column gave some pictures, his height/weight/40 and a partial wikipedia bio. Is that a new google feature???

Yea those Texas boys love they 'drank'. But I think he he has other issues he has to deal with first. I think he has like mandatory rehab as part of his release or something to that effect. Not sure if football is on his radar just yet.

Yeah, I just googled "Charlie Sheen" and the same thing popped up. No stats on his maximum-cocaine-intake, though. Google sucks at scouting reports.

Well, he's usually in perfect position to make a play on the football, but QB's have learned that he never ever ever ever ever ever ever attempts to actually make a play on the football, so they just throw at him all day.
Also he's too small to tackle anyone.

NFL Network's Jeff Darlington reports that free agent Dallas Clark could sign with the Buccaneers "as soon as today."

Why are they going to cut Winslow? Let Clark make it through training camp first.
