Dexter was so good in seasons 1 and 2.. ugh. Season 4 wasn't bad either but god that show was so amazing when it first aired.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes of the new Dexter season and I enjoyed them well enough, apparently I should be expecting the worst from here on out.

I don't get the thought that season 4 was only ok, I thought it was outstanding and the best of the series, if only for Lithgow. Season 5 had some absolutely awful moments but there were bits and pieces that I liked. Still by far the worst season.

I was with it until season 6. That killed it for me. Not even looking forward to the next season. Loved 1, 2, and 4. I think I actually liked 5 more than 3, but neither were that good. I had to force myself to finish 6, while the others I couldn't stop watching.

4 was great but only because if Lithgow (who was flat out ******* awesome) so it goes 1, 2, 4, 5/3/6 for me. The last three could never have happened and I would have been happy.

Honestly watching that shows writers fail so miserably to write the simplest of plots and tie a story together without plot holes is one of the damn most entertaining things I have ever seen. Its like a new episode of the room every week but with more plot holes and worse characters.
