I'm curious as to who spoiled it? Was the post deleted?
I think people are reading too much into the conversation of the possibility ( I don't even know it actually happens) of IF tyrion lannister died that they might decide to keep him alive.

He got a slice on the face, it's pretty clear that he's not dying to anyone who uses their brain. If he dies then I might have to take up the habit of going to the emergency room every time I get a paper-cut. It's a freakin' flesh wound.
And for those of you who are about to say "Well Khal Drogo died b/c of a cut on the shoulder!": There were strong context clues that suggested Drogo was a goner. And there is quite a bit of difference between being a rich ass Lannister with all sorts of access to the best care and the most advanced technologies and being some savage wandering the desert.
I wasn't saying anyone had spoiled anything just to be clear(I wouldn't know either way) just that people should be careful because it would be very easy to accidentally spoil just around the whole "changing things from the book" angle of talking without even meaning to.
It should be noted that Khal Drogo's death does imply to me that they live in a world without anti-biotic medication, in which case a deep flesh wound absolutely could be fatal. Have to remember that infections were one of the biggest killers in WWI because there was no medical aid, just hope the body beats it.
The ending of the episode is specifically designed to create doubt about the outcome! I'm hoping like hell that he is fine because he is a godlike pimp half man.

Reading through this thread, it appears some people got jumpy and put meaning into words or statements that wasn't there. Reading through these past few pages another time, once again I've yet to see an actual spoiler.
As for infections in this world, of course there's going to be that risk with any wound. Their technology is equivalent to that of the middle-ages, with obvious fantasy elements.

People were already complaining about spoilers, enough so to make another thread. I'm fine with this staying in its current status, but if people are going to use the other thread, this might as well become a spoiler thread.
Interesting description they give Edmure...At this point he is 26-28 years old...In the time depicted that isnt that young. Furthermore that brings up one thing I never liked about the casting of Catalyn Stark. Michelle Fairly who plays Cat in the show is 48. Catalyn stark is like 31-34 in actuality. I know others were cast with massive age differences too...like Sean Bean being 50 and Eddard only being in his 30's too...but somehow Catalyn casting has always bothered me.
I'm almost done with the first book. I have decided to stop watching the show because it ruins the awesomeness of the surprises in the book. Problem is I have watched up through S2E6 :(
