Remember when everybody complained about Heath Ledger as Joker? Lets see how it plays out before we get too carried away with the Hathaway bashing.

Fair enough.
In honor of this truce, I will go and think to myself about Anne and her beautiful assets.

She'll be fine, I trust Nolan to make the right call.

Ledger's Joker was a once-in-a-lifetime performance. It also gets a bit bigger in the telling. I am not counting on lightning striking twice.

Again, it isnt like Holmes or Maggie did a bad job acting wise in the other two movies. Rachael was just a terrible character and I dont see why we would bash her at this point until weve seen the end product. Sure I was skeptical when it was announced too but I trust Nolan. Plus he just recently said this might be the best thing he has ever done in an interview so I am going to trust it will be epic.

I'm not saying either did a "bad job", I'm saying they were cast poorly.

I like Hathaway. I think she'll do a good job.

After Nolan aced every casting decision in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, I think it's foolish to doubt his choice of Anne Hathaway without having seen the whole movie yet. Speaking of Nolan, he had this to say to Empire about the scale of the movie...
Quote:
|
"I think this is the biggest one I've done. The biggest one anyone's done since the silent era, in technical terms. It's all about historical epics in conception. It's a war film. It's a revolutionary epic. It's looking back to the grand-scale epics of the past, really, and for me that goes as far back as silent films.

Whooooooooooooooooo! So I have every-other-Friday off at work. I just looked at the calendar and I have the 20th off, meaning I can go to the Midnight showing without worrying about work the next day. Hells yeah.

I don't think she is bad. I don't think she is great. She's this generation's Meryl Streep, whom overacts like crazy. The people that think life should be a Broadway musical, with the grotesque over acting involved with them, think Meryl Streep is a great actress. Anne is falling into that same category.

Except he didn't, because the two females I mentioned previously were the only real weaknesses in what were otherwise fantastic movies.

Gyllenhaal wasn't all that bad, she did her job. Katie Holmes sucked but that's because Katie Homes sucks.

I didn't buy into Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes.

I couldn't believe it when I first saw TDK, but Gyllenhaal was even more terrible than Holmes. And even worse, she looked like a foot in the process.
The Rachel Dawes character is really my only major complaint with these films so far. For that I mostly blame Rachel Mcadams fine ass for not taking the part.

Wow! Ouch. However, I don't live in Alabama by choice and I saw both movies while living in Florida, so I believe my living in Alabama should be irrelevant.

I've been able to understand him pretty much in the trailers. I think overall it will be fine.
