Brad Stuart's rights were traded to San Jose for Andrew Murray and a conditional 2014 draft pick.

Stupid Ken Holland.
Lesser players than Brad Stuart will be traded for more than a goddamn 7th round conditional draft pick. Andrew Murray is not only **** worthless, he's a UFA too.
Can't wait til some scrub gets dealt for a 3rd or 4th rounder.

I don't understand why you'd be upset. He was going to be a free agent and, if I'm not mistaken, he had made it pretty clear he wanted to sign with one of the California teams. So there was a slim to none chance he was staying in Detroit and had he not been traded you would have received nothing when he signed elsewhere in a few weeks.
As a Sharks fan, I would rather just wait until July to sign him and keep the 7th, but I have a feeling DW made this deal so he could get Brad signed allowing him to trade one of our current D-men on draft day.

Its not like he's under contract though. Would you rather have this or nothing?

Damn you Ken Holland for getting a free draft pick. You are a terrible GM lol.

I know they'd want to take care of their unrestricted guys before dealing with all of their RFA, and they also have a mountain of cap space to work with, but David Jones and Matt Hunwick just don't seem like they needed those contracts. Going to be a lot of interesting contracts to come from Colorado this offseason.

Bernier's penalty just cost the Devils a chance at a game 7.

Hope was short lived. Dustin Brown deserves it.

Remember that curb stomp scene in American History X? I feel like that just happened to the devils.

Wish Simmer could have been there for this. Would have loved seeing him play a nice role in a run like this, and he is so much cooler than those turds. But unfortunately that's just not possible.

Johnson might get his name on the Cup still, right?
He played 61 games with the Kings this year. Minimum requirement is 41. I don't think it matters that he was traded away.
Obviously, that'd be a pretty hollow honor though.

The Kings made everyone their ***** this postseason. Wouldn't surprise me if they lost that last game on purpose so they could win at home. ;)
