Oh, it's not even your team.
But on that note, congrats to KCJ and of course SARF! Take it all in. I hope to one day know this.

I want to be in LA, right now :/
I can't even imagine the scene if Buffalo were to win it. Or lose it. It's a very different feel since 99. You can see that Buffalo leads the viewership ratings (above the finalists' markets) every year, we need to get good again.

With the finals over, it is time for that fantasy off-season that I've been talking about. It should be great fun and I expect everyone here to participate or you will definitely be called a bandwagon/crappy hockey fan!

I'm absolutely salivating at the prospects of a Reimer/Scrivens duo for next season. YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

So, Parise adamantly said today that he will not sign with the Rangers, specifically, while (perhaps hollowly) saying he'd like to return to New Jersey.
Top 3 teams to nab him? Detroit, Minnesota, ???

So apparently Tim Thomas really is sitting out next year. If it was most other athletes I wouldn't buy into it, but I believe him. He is just a regular type of person but is kind of out there.

I read yesterday that because Thomas' salary will still count against Boston's cap, the Bruins might trade him to a team that will struggle to reach the salary floor. It'd benefit that team because they don't have to pay Thomas since he's sitting out, but his salary would count and help them reach the minimum.
Very curious.
