To further Caddy's thoughts, I think they would be cool once and a while, as they are different, but I could never see them replacing the original. I think to work better you would need less guild members, and more neutrals.

It's a sentiment shared by more than just me. Especially the way this game was set up. The fact that there was no town meant that the day had absolutely no direction and the game turned into a battle arena rather than a mafia game.

Never said it wasn't enjoyable. It was fun. But ultimately, a game without a town is a game with a day phase that lacks direction. I don't plan on playing any other 'gladiator' games and I know I'm not alone in that intention. Stop being so butthurt.

I really enjoyed this game. It may have been better if the town was bigger (or if there is a town at all) but it was good all the same. My biggest complaint was the lack of kill actions. There was one night kill all game (partially our fault). I think that was one of the things that made the game so drawn out. But all-in-all, a very solid game format that I'm looking forward to playing again.
