I've been hearing this all over the place, and I'm sorry but it's just starting to really bug me. So I guess for big WR's unless you run like Calvin Johnson your either average or a disappointment. A low 4.5 is a very fast time for a guy 6'4 and approaching 230 pounds that is in prime football shape and has been training for 2 years, let alone 1 who hasn't played organized football in years and has had to rely on himself to workout.
I don't care what he was rumored to run. 4.5 is plenty fast for a WR his size, all that means is he's not a world class sprinter or a once in a decade type of prospect. People that size don't typically run 4.3 40's, it's not a disappointment when it doesn't happen.
I know we all want the freakish prospect to come along to go nuts over, but he's got some great measurables and is a great athlete. I'm not understanding the reaction to his 40 time by most people what so ever though.
