It's not that terrible. Above average defensive SS and his bat is really starting to come around this year as well.

To say his defense is above average is a massive understatement.

I feel so bad for Royals fans. Why in the hell haven't they brought Wil Myers up yet?

Because they are 10.5 games out and have no pitching to get back into the race. But there is an argument to be made for both sides.

Wait, isn't that more reason to call him up? He's already been down long enough for them to secure another year of service time. They are out of the race...so call up your top prospect who is probably top 3-4 in all of MLB right now to give the fans something to see these last few months
Instead, Dayton Moore has some weird fetish for Jeff Franceour

He still can't take a walk, and his BABIP is almost surely going to come down. In seeing him hit, I highly doubt he sustains this kind of LD%. His last two full seasons have boasted .290 and .288 OBPs.

Josh Tomlin will either throw a 7 inning shutout or get ***** slapped for 6 ER in 1 inning tonight. Dude's a ****** coin flip.

What clubs could use a closer at the deadline or in the offseason?

I think the Giants are one more blown save by Casilla away from being in the market for a closer.

Romo has knees and an elbow made of glass. Main reason why he wasn't made the closer after Wilson went down.

Mariners scouted Tyrell Jenkins last night. I hope the cardinals don't do anything stupid, like Jenkins for Vargas. I might throw up.

The Jacob Turner era begins tonight boys.... That, or the more likely scenario, he will pitch 5 innings, give up three runs on 100 pitches and be sent down when Smyly returns.

Not a single left hander in the Reds lineup tonight.

Axford got the boot from closing. You think you have a consistent RP and then nope.

With Richards on the mound, I'd be surprised if he gets through 5 IP without 4-5 ER

In years past I'd be all for the Cardinals picking up Jonathan Sanchez, I think Dave Duncan could at least make him a quality #4. But this year without Dave I'm hesitant to take those chances now, I still question whether or not Lilliquist even does anything on this team. To me Yadi is the pitching coach.
