Not the worst, better than what Bray brings.

Also 22 hits, giving him a 1.409 WHIP.

I just read the last few pages. What on earth are you guys talking about with Span? He doesn't even have a no trade clause. :/

MLBN reported that he turned down a trade to the Reds and later retracted it.

It's not the best metric, but it's something. My point is, it's not like we gave up the second coming of Aroldis. This is a 24-year-old doing moderately well in AAA.

According to Pirate fans, the Pirates didn't do enough despite doing more than the Cards and Reds. According to Pirate fans, this is the only year they will be able to compete for a playoff spot so trade all their prospects to win now.
I hate Pittsburgh fans.

As do I sir... They are the worst bandwagon fans in all of sports. I want to give myself a lobotomy with a wine opener living in this cursed city.

I love the passionate, intelligent fans, but most are so stupid that I can't deal with it.

The Cards and Reds are better teams than the Pirates. So I see what they are saying.I expect the Pirates to fade soon. Not to mention a lot of their key contributors are actually pretty old.

I agree with that. I know the Pirates are the third best team in the division, but fans are griping about them not doing anything and to trade all their young top players for guys who are rentals. It just doesn't make sense.

Morales with 2 hr's and 6 RBI yesterday(including a hr off of a lefty) and is benched today so Wells can play
that's now 3 of the last 4 games that Wells has played since returning, soon to be 4 of the last 6 since they face another lefty on thursday. Please Dipoto, get rid of this guy so Scioscia cannot play him. Scioscia has an irrational love for extremely sh*tty veterans. take his toys away

I think I can understand some Pirates fans being hungry for the playoffs seeing as they have sucked balls for ******* ever.

I agree 100% the only issue is that in my 3 years here I can honestly estimate the knowledgeable fans at less that 10%. Its miserable... I mean ****, you know it has to be bad when their own fans hate them.

Which is exactly why they shouldn't go out buying at the deadline. Any acquisitions they did/could have made won't/wouldn't matter.

lol... If the Pirates had been solid team for 7-10 years, fans would be smarter.

Two games with Wells: 0 runs
Yesterday: 15 runs
That must be said.

Trust me, I know. But it takes time. No need to trade Cole, Taillon, Marte for Pence because of that. They are 14 games over, first for the Wild Card, three games back of the division, and got better at the deadline. I just want them to cool their jets a bit.

That's why I don't talk to Pittsburgh fans really. I just don't know what to say.

Josh Bellm Alex Hanson, Gregory Polanco are a few to name. Alex Dickerson could be a nice bat at the Major League level as well.

Not really. Steelers have been good every year, and there are too many stupid fans.
