Yep there were all sorts of reports saying he rejected a trade to the gigantes, but I also saw a bunch that said the Cubs and Giants weren't close. I don't mind Soriano has played quite well this year.

I actually laugh at Yankees. They would play Carlos Lee at LF when Teixeria is back on field. Are they crazy?
Is that right? Astros pay a lot to Lee to play for Miami but Miami wants 2m from Orioles or 1m from Yankees. WTF?

That's a good move for the Nats. They were one foul tip away from their 4th string catcher playing everyday.

Suzuki has been playing like a 4th catcher all year. He's terrible and his contract is way to much for that level of play.

If the Pirates don't win when the Reds don't have Votto, Bruce, OR Phillips in the line up, I'm going on a huge rant.

Does not matter if Bruce was in the lineup anyway. It is a LHP tonight he would maybe get a single if that.

Who's your favorite pirate? "Alex Presley. He always gives it all and hustles. Team has a spark when he's in the lineup" - Pittsburgh radio
I love Pittsburgh fans

He will stay in Philly. No one will take on all that money and give up top prospects at the same time.

21 out of 30 teams have claimed on Lee? Wow!
I rule 9 teams out. Right or wrong.
(Phillies).
Orioles.
Royals.
Brewers.
Twins.
Mariners.
Astros.
Cubs.
Rockies.
That means Diamondbacks, Rays, A's or even Padres could make a claim on him. damn.

Claims don't really mean anything.

Doubt the Pirates made a claim. No way they spend that much money on him.

If so, Rays could make a claim to ensure that Lee wont pitch in AL East for either Blue Jays, Red Sox or Yankees. However, if Phillies decided to dump Lee for free then Rays are stuck with Lee's contract. lol.
Depending on what teams are on Lee's no trade clause.

Sorry, pal. I believe they did. No need to worry about it because there are few teams with worse record than Pirates.

Just curious! Lee has no trade clause and the winner is on it then what happens? Cross the winner off for next team or thats it.
