Going to be very interesting in watching Gilmore, although admittedly mostly for homer reasons. He is very talented, but after his great freshman year he had a sophomore slump and then still got beaten a good many times last year. I have a personal theory that coaching may have had an impact, as he got a new position coach after his freshman year. If Gilmore shines in the NFL, it probably does reflect on the coaching he received those last two years which doesn't bode well for us, considering he's been promoted to DC.
He's having a good camp, so far. Thrust right into #1 role. Playing very physical and holding his own with Stevie Johnson. I'm excited for it. Can't be worse than what Florence gave us against #1 receivers last year and his potential is so high. Hopefully the line can indeed make it a little easier on him.
