Oh, I know that place well.
Good thing we can still snag studs like Grigorenkensons and Myers from it.

Skinner got paid rather handsomely.
I really hope Doan goes to Nashville. Would be so cool. Beautiful fit and helps to further settle their competitive relevance.

I want to see Skinner with the two Staals on the PP this year. GODDAMNIT MAKE IT HAPPEN.
and ya, Doan to Nashville would be sweet. I wonder if the King have enough money for him. I could see that working out. Carter-Richards-Doan would be sexy.

And where do you put the 7 million-dollar Semin?

Think Skinner could play the point on the PP if they wanted to put Semin up there with the Staals? Between Skinner, the Staals, and Semin, Skinner is the only one I could see being up there.

True story.
He seemed to not blow anybody away at the junior evaluation camp in Lake Placid last week, but it's not like I actually saw any of that. Got a decent look at him at our prospect camp last month. Tries a lot of stuff that he probably shouldn't. Just bad giveaway plays that leave him way behind. Such is youth. Certainly doesn't mind shooting the puck. He's also a ******* bull in 1-on-1 matchups and you will not beat him on the boards.

kk...now that the summer olympics is over....we can start thinking about olympic hockey again.
Im gonna go fap to the thought of team canadas forwards (and then curl up into a ball and cry at the thought of their goaltending).

I love the potential USA team, but even with their speed they just never do well in Europe. Still fapping.

Hopefully JT and Eberle make the team and play on the same line. It would force all other teams to forfeit.
(also...if Sid,Giroux and Stammer are every on the ice together)

Bring on the Nathan MacKinnon sweepstakes, then!
This way the Leafs can be rewarded for being terrible and we won't embarrass ourselves again. Win-win.

You're not on NBC nearly enough to win a random draft lottery.

But, but the winter classic...****, our one game on NBC is going to be cancelled. At least we have Rielly.
That Yakupov with a sweet pass on the 4th Russian goal.

O Rielly!
These Canada-Russia games have been pretty good in recent years, besides the end result.

Habs doing something smart. Stop associating with Americans that aren't Scott Gomez.

Flyers re-up both Simmonds and Hartnell for 6 years.

7.5M a year for Doan? I don't want him anymore. There's only one player the Habs can pay so much for.
:(

I'm still jealous. The Wings could afford it and yet they probably didn't offer half that much.

Just consider it less than twice what we pay Leino, and it doesn't seem so bad. Right?

Just hope he doesn't become less than twice as productive. I'm weary of 35 year old, big bodied players who don't get by by being ultra-talented.

Oh I'm sure he'd fall off a good amount. If he wanted to come here, even. I know he wants the years, but I'm of the mindset that we're not one of his preferred destinations after Phoenix. But yeah, it would become a wreck. He'll always try to bring his game, but that's not exactly on the rise and 7.5 for what he will be giving in 3 years will be so ridiculous. Maybe not Gomez level, but maybe Horcoff.
