Good to see Julio balling out, was to be expected, want to see Quizz in a bigger role than Turner. O-Line is lacking, especially Baker(Big suprise).

Defense wasnt too exciting but its preseason game 1 and were not gonna show anything right now. Liked our tackling from the CBs.

Watched the game. Here's some notes:

- Julio Jones is a beast. We potentially have two top 10 receivers in the NFL. Jones may be better than White already.

- Our offense looked damn good in the first quarter. I'm never seen us just consistently attack teams through the air like that. Other than the bone-headed INT, Matt Ryan was money.

- Jacquizz Rodgers looked pretty good, especially with the first team. I hope he continues to eat into Turner's carries.

- Could Peria Jerry finally be healthy? I watched him specifically for the most part and he seemed to create a ton of penetration. If he can actually carry this into the regular season, we have a pretty solid defensive tackle rotation.

- From the little I was watching Peter Konz, he seemed to do a good job.

I know it sounds crazy but does anyone think Quizz might be a better short yardage/goalline back then turner? With his small size and quickness i think he is and im not sure if turner scores on that TD from last night

I agree with you GF, I'd like to see Jacquizz more on the short yardage situations. Turner just doesn't have the quickness you need and he's too big to get past the line sometimes.
