If the Pirates move McDonald to the pen and keep Corriea in the rotation, I'll be sooooo ******* pissed off.

So, if my awful math is correct, you have a 1 in 216 chance of throwing a perfect game against the Tampa Rays.

What an awesome game, from start to finish my dad and I got to watch it. Amazing!
The M's still only put up 1 run haha. Needed every out he got.

the Rays are no-hitter/perfect game magnets
3rd perfecto of the season, 2 of them at Safeco.

Melky noooooooo!
The Giants probably knew before the deadline. Pence deal makes more sense now.

Was this the first time ever that a team has a perfect game thrown against them, and they throw a perfect game, in the same year? Especially the same ballpark.

Yes they said it was.
There have been 2 perfect games and a no-no thrown in safeco this year. Crazy...first time a team has thrown 2 in one year since 1973.

Felix needs the Cy Young. Verlander has Kate Upton.

Cards win 5-2 tonight. Freese and Craig homer, and Waino continues to pitch well. Hoping for a sweet tomorrow with Lohse on the mound.
Cardinals are now tied with the Pirates.

KC is climbing out of the basement. Finally stopped running terribad pitchers out there and **** turns around - go figure! Too little, too late, though. I'll be happy with a strong 3rd place finish at this point.

Jaime Garcia is coming off the DL on Sunday as he'll make his first start since Early June. With him joining the rotation, Joe Kelly Will go to the Pen.
If the Cards can get Jaime throwin like he can by September and they have Joe Kelly bringin some gas out of the pen, I really like our chances. The pitching and the offense is really coming together.
