Hell on Wheels was such a disappointment. I remember being pretty excited about it when I saw the previews. I barely made it past the first few episodes before just tuning out.

Newsroom was good tonight I fear the season finalie is going to suck balls. With too much of that ****** love square.

I enjoyed this episode but it had another moment where they got the "scoop" because of a random out of nowhere acquaintance. I'm getting kind of tired of those. Lisa just HAPPENED to go to HS with Casey Anthony? Really?

Yeah. I don't doubt that they CAN get rid of that and actually figure out a different way to break some news, but until they do they make me roll my eyes.

I'll agree with you here. I don't like it all that much a lot of the times, but it isn't nearly as bad as jvig/vidae make it seem. It's better than Newsroom.

The Walking Dead is not better than The Newsroom. No single episode of that show is better than the worst Newsroom episode. The Walking Dead has the two worst characters I've ever seen on TV and a plot hole a week.

I'm starting to think that maybe we shouldn't be texting buddies.

I'll take the zombie plothole a week over the failed humor attempt of the week. Unless, just maybe, they're going for humor in how funny it is that none of these ever land. Because that is starting to get me.

For the parts that are supposed to matter, Newsroom is still nothing to write home about.

Also, you can fault Aaron Sorkin for a lot of things, but there is no way anyone could legitimately argue that the writing on The Walking Dead is better than The Newsroom. It's some of the stupidest **** I've ever seen on TV, bar none, and it gets swept under the rug because OMG ZOMBIEZ11!1!!!!

The only reason I pay attention to TWD anymore is because I hope Carl and Lori get eaten and then their corpses get zombie-raped.

Attempting to write humor and failing is not something new to television, but at least the rest of the writing is solid. TWD has some of the dumbest characters in the history of television. I want you to kill Shane! For US! Oh my god you killed Shane? You're a MONSTER, I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU ANYMORE!
