Don't u have a 37 game lead in the division? Goosefraba young man, goosefraba. The Reds are a damn good team man, and my NL favorites right now.

Agreed yoda. Judging by this thread without looking at the standings, you would think that the Reds are like 10 games below .500. Kind of annoying especially considering that team's recent history.

What the **** are you two talking about?
I made one post in here about Heisey sucking (which he does) and now we act like we are 10 games under? Come on. It isn't like we just won a WS and are whining like some on here do.
We had 15 years of just sucking. So excuse me if I dont just get all peachy keen with a 6 game lead in August.

I didn't say u guys are acting like ur ten games under, that was prock. So IDK why u said you 2.
And if the just winning the world and coming in here whining that better not be a shot at me and Cardinal fans. At least I have not, I decided not to ***** this year cuz we won the world series last year, and the only thing I have bitched about is losing a player who is a prick and should go nameless. But I am so glad the Angels are fading.
And 15 years of sucking in our division is child's play...we've had one that hasn't won in 104, a team that hasn't had a winning season in 20 years, a team that is going to the worst team for a second straight season. There I think I just pissed every team off in our division, GOOD!

Not solely based off that post, but this thread. It's just the massive amount of complaining about the "sucking" of the best team in the league that is obnoxious.

Nick Swisher seeks for 100mm contract? That is ludicrous. He will be 32 years old on next year's opening day so 5 or 6 year contract is ideal for him. I think his value is 14mm so that means somewhere between 70-84mm is more suitable.
5/70 or 6/84 plus bonuses is the best I can think of for him. 100mm. Oh right!
Anyway, I am very curious about Brian McCann and Tim Hudson for next year because Braves visibly value Bourn as a leadoff hitter and Bourn's price may be at least 8mm. McCann's club option is 12mm (500k buyout). Hudson' club option is 9mm (1mm buyout). Declining either will cover Bourn's expense.
I think Hudson will be kept because the rotation is shaky due to health issue. Maybe Braves can decline him and re-sign him for less than 7mm including buyout expense. I can see Yankees steal him for 8mm which is cheaper than Hiroki Kuroda, who has pitched brilliantly for a mere 10mm with Yankees this year.
McCann will have shoulder surgery to fix cyst and joint fray or whatever after this season and Braves have a good hitting prospect in Gattis who can replace McCann next year. I refuse to accept another season of paid at least 5mm in catcher who can't hit. Russ Martin is making 7.5mm this year but he is still considered as an above average catcher because of his catching skill and power. If McCann is actually available then I would love to see him sign with Yankees for 7mm plus incentives.
Anything about Braves' intention for Bourn, Hudson and McCann from front office's perspective only.

Most of that came when Votto was playing hurt and we struggled a lot.
We didn't really go on a tear until after the ASB.
And if you saw the play, Heisey ******* deserved it.

Keep dreaming. Miley will get 2nd. And finish fairly well in the Cy votes.

I pimp the Frazier = ROY trend on my radio show twice a week! Including tonight.
Anyway, the O's may be a player on Saunders since that was the word on the street going into the deadline.

You have a radio show? Sweet.
And it's kind of weird that the Nats are so worried about Strasburg's innings limit and then brought him back in after an hour rain delay tonight.

Mike Trout should win both the Rookie of the Year Awards. Why? Cuz he is that ******* good to win an award in a league he ain't even in even tho he plays for that dirty, rotten, spoiled, devilish, full of assholes team.

Wainwright looked great tonight.
9.0 IP, 5 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 12 Ks
and yes I KNOW it was the Astros so it doesn't really count.

I think the Braves worry them immensely in the division, and want to sweep them.
