I have been avoiding commentary because like above, didn't want to clutter the thread.

Anyways, glad to see Clowney get the respect here he deserves. Before the votes started coming in, I actually thought he would be competing for second team behind perceived bigger names. But the kid racked up 8 sacks sitting behind Devin Taylor and Melvin Ingram, and now has had a real college offseason. He was almost NFL ready coming in as a true freshman, he probably is at this point. Considering his size, athleticism and production, likely going to be a top five player coming out. If Mario Williams can go number one, Clowney should be in that discussion.

Also, I am changing my vote from Montgomery to Jackson Jeffcoat. Just because.

I had completely forgotten how stacked Bama's line is this season until this. Barrett Jones was arguably the best tackle in the nation last year, and now he is playing center because of the other talent Bama has in the wings. Even without Richardson that offense should be potent.

Glad to see Sammy Watkins get first team selection. I expect him to be up in the top five alongside Clowney when comes in. I rarely can appreciate Clemson players, but this kid is just outstanding at basically every aspect of his position. He is suspended for the first two games, but I don't see what difference that makes. Auburn hurts, but the other game is against a small school where he would have barely played anyways. He will still play at least ten games this season, I don't see why that would disqualify him from an All-American honors.
