Per my Face book feed
Finally went to the doctor...I officially have a fractured ankle. Splinted up, and they say no hockey for a month. Pretty sure I'll be ignoring that opinion
Also per NFL.com
"The Green Bay Packers let Aaron Rodgers develop for three years, but that model is dead. Daniel Jeremiah explains why young QBs such as the Cleveland Browns' Brandon Weeden are thrown into the fire."
Young QBs? Try because he is like 28..... lol

Not to mention I'm sure Rodgers would have started or had a chance to start if he wasn't sitting behind a legendary/beloved QB at the time.

There were three or four -- literally, possibly ******* four -- other rookies they could have picked to make that point. Why would they pick the guy who's old enough to be a retired NFL QB?

I also really really hate that philosophy. I understand trying to turn your team around and selling tickets but for christ sake why teams dont give young QBs time to develop is just beyond me. You give them the huge contract, and if they dont flash in the first few games you go out and draft another QB. Just is something that has always bothered me.

There are a few dozen other places on this forum alone where you could have that conversation and you pick the funny picture thread?

Teams do want to be able to let their rookie QBs to develop. It's just that the ones that do start do so because there's no other legit QB to start.
Cam Newton: started over Jimmy Clausen
Jake Locker: sat behind Hasselbeck
Blaine Gabbert: started over Luke McCown
Christian Ponder: started after McNabb sucked up the joint
Sam Bradford: started over AJ Feely
Tim Tebow: sat until Kyle Orton got injured
Matthew Stafford: started over Daunte Culpepper
Mark Sanchez: started over Kellen Clemens
Josh Freeman: sat behind Leftwich and Josh Johnson
Matt Ryan: started over Chris Redman
Joe Flacco: started over Kyle Boller

To be fair Boller had an injury and Troy Smith got crazy sick which lead to Flacco starting. I still think Smith would have been the starter if he didn't get sick.

The Weeden/Rodgers thing is also funny because Weeden is about 2 months older than Aaron Rodgers..

Oh my god... I would have so many things to post on that site.
"I once flipped out of a moving car because I couldn't wait to get into the pet store."
"Another time I rolled my head up in the car window in an attempt to commit suicide."
"I enjoy the taste of mint... whether it be mints, gum or multiple bottles of adult flavored pleasure cream."
and that is just the tip of the iceberg
