rex says he loves smiths feet and hunters feet were not so nice. He just wants whoever is out there to be good little foot soldiers and put their best foot forward

The coaching staff was very happy with Austin Howard. I'm assuming he starts and Smith becomes our blocking TE (pretty much just a 6th lineman). If Howard struggles early on, I expect Smith to be the guy.

ironic the most soooooper athletic "converted TE" with the sweetest feet in pass blocking and the most devastating run blocking (despite the constant 2 point stance) may be looking at a conversion back to TE
Cant gloat too much about being so down on smith that year since i would have taken michael oher in the spot every single time...but it still feels kinda good watching him fail

Jeff Faine visited the Bengals for a tryout per Bengals.com. Seems they are uncertain about the severity of Kyle Cook's injury. Would be a crying shame if we were to lose him for an extended period of time, especially with the loss of Wharton earlier in the preseason.

Terrible tackle prospect since he lacked the ability to set himself and to be fast enough against opposing DEs.
However, he's been a very good guard prospect under us and was fighting with Slauson for the LG spot. I think he's being viewed as the successor of Brandon Moore.
Vlad's come a long way, just he wasn't going to be the RT fixture like many hoped. Can still be salvaged as a guard moving forward. He has the run opening under pat, just can use work as a pass protector.

Bengals signed Wallace Gilberry to replace Jamaal Anderson who tore a quad muscle.

Bucs Released Preston Parker and brought back Shipley and Underwood.
And now they are suppose to be putting Sammie Stroughter on IR and pick up Chris Owusu.

Cool to see Owusu make an active roster. I hope he stays healthy and can make an impact. Would you even try to use him on special teams with his head issues?

Definitely have to be cautious, but I'm sure they'll give him a chance. We have been trying out different guys on returns, had Benn returning kicks last week.

Brian Moorman cut by Buffalo. Always remember him for the hit he took from the late Sean Taylor in the Pro Bowl.

I don't think anyone cares. Why was he signed? Did someone on the Redskins get hurt? Alfred Morris is still the man right?
