Expectations for Blackmon this year?
Despite reports that Blackmon looked lost, I think he's been okay against decent competition in the 2 games he has played. 8 catches 120 yards in about 5 quarters with Gabbert.
With Robinson almost certainly headed to be a bust, Blackmon is most likely to get a hell of a lot of targets. Never really liked robinson and felt they overpaid for him. But as a #2 he might be ok, might.
60 receptions with 850 yards wouldn't surprise me at all.

I'm guessing he gets about 700 - 800 yards. Gabbert targeted him a lot in Baltimore the other night.

About right. 800 yards and 6 touchdowns would be my guess. That wouldn't be bad for someone playing with the worst starting QB in the league.

Better than AJ Green? With Gabbert throwing him the ball?

I'll go 70/870/5, and a pedestrian season from Gabbert which would be worlds better than what we saw last year.

I think 60, 800, 5 sounds about right.

I'm right in that 800 yards 6-8 TD range as well, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him blow past that if he is their only legit wideout. I could easily see him being force fed some passes.

If Blackmon is healthy all season I think he gets over 1000 yards receiving. He's going to be Gabbert's first, second and third read on every pass play.
And Blackmon has a QB with a gun slinging him the football, not the case with AJ Green who would have had more opportunities to make plays if he had a more physically gifted QB.

It's not like having a gun is the only way to get a WR the ball. Being accurate counts for a lot too and Dalton is worlds more accurate then Gabbert has ever shown to be. I don't know why poeple assume Dalton held AJG back last year, he had an excellent rookie season with a ton of targets, maybe going forward he may hold him back but last year I didn't see that as the case at all.

i could see him putting up 8-10 TDs honestly even with gabbert being terrible he could get that. The dude is a nightmare to cover and has looked good so far. Mike Williams-like rookie season is possible
