My team (12 man league):
QB: Romo, Bradford, RG3
RB: Rice, CJ2K, Beanie, Ben Tate
WR: Dez, Steve Smith (CAR), Wayne, Sidney Rice, Lance Moore, Randle, Hankerson
TE: Pettigrew, Dickson, Winslow III
Standard scoring, .5 PPR, start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/W-R-T flex/K/DEF
The trade:
I receive:
AJ Green
I send:
Dez Bryant
Ben Tate
I'd be moving Tate/Dez to the guy who has Foster, he wants Tate as insurance for Foster. I am worried that I am leaving myself too open on RB with just 3 left on the roster (albeit very good ones), especially with how often Beanie is hurt
But I think AJ >>>> Dez in dynasty value so I am leaning towards taking it..
Thoughts? +rep for answers

RBs don't have a long enough shelf life for me to like this trade. You give up a young RB who has shown he can be a stud if given the chance, and that's too much. Regardless of whether you like AJ a lot more than Dez, the potential is there for both to be top 5 players for a long time. I see their trade value as pretty even, with an edge to AJ based on maturity and his more stable family/life situation.

Should be a solid team. Is it homerism that has you holding Bradford? Is he showing something that hasn't been well publicized? That's a small roster for a QB that is wire material.

Both good options, anyway. Cobb as a breakout candidate and Wilson b/c Bradshaw is a breakdown candidate.

He was the last skill player on my roster. Unless he becomes the starter I see him as my first in line to get dropped when I need a bye week replacement.

Ha nah not homerism, I honestly felt like I needed to snag a backup Quarterback and there weren't that many left so I just went a head and took him. Might end up releasing him for Kyle Rudolph. Heck I might even trade him, I probably could get a decent player back. The guys I did the draft with didn't really know a lot about fantasy football and there were a bunch of "aww man damnit" when I took Sam.
First time I've been in a league where passing TDs are 4 points but if a QB runs it in it's worth 6 points. Could explain why Cam was taken 4th overall and I got Lesean at #6!
This might be fun though, I'm gonna see how dumb everyone really is.

Go for the 9th and cross your fingers for Calvin and Gronk.

Depends what you want to do position wise and who you like. If you definitely want to go RB at that slot you're probably going to be reaching for your favorite tier 2 back there since its unlikely Ray Ray, Foster, or Shady slips there, though if they do you might start in nice shape. If you aren't locking into RB, then you're guaranteed to get one of those three, Calvin, or Rodgers which is nice. At 9 you're probably going to get a tier 2 guy at pretty much any position, depends who you like and who's on the board, and you obviously have a higher round 2 pick which is nice. So I kind of think it depends on what you're looking to do early.

12 team PPR
QB: Eli, Freeman
RB: CJ, Martin, Bradshaw, Benson, Jennings, Quizz
WR: Green, Wayne, Blackmon, Bess, Mike Williams
TE: Olsen
K: Bironas

What are your guys thought on Blackmon? Do you think he's going to produce enough to be my 3rd starting WR?

Definitely. Especially in PPR. He seems to have a good rapport with Gabbert. I think Mike Williams might be a sleeper as well though.

Just finished last draft of the year. 12 team auction that kind of went crazy. Couple new people to Auctions just WAY overspent, which threw everything kind of outta wack. Not sure how I feel about my team...
QB - Newt
RB- McFadden - Chris Johnson
WR- Maclin - Meachem - LaFell
TE - Gates
W/R - Doug Martin
BNCH
Steven Jackson
Deangelo Williams
Ben Tate
Brian Quick
Laurent Robinson
Santana Moss

He may be a bit inconsistent but I think he'll be a good WR3 play. You should be pretty well set up for headaches with those 3 options at WR3. I like all three guys, but expect some inconsistent play. Green & Wayne should be consistent enough to make the WR3 a great upside play for you, though.

Personally, I'd go 9/16. However, if definitely depends on who you like early. Want a stud QB? - better go 5.

Should be a very competetive team. Flex could be a bit rough, but the rest of the starters are great.

LeShoure sticks out. I'd be surprised if he doesn't take over the RB spot once his suspension is done. If he does he would give you great ammo for trades with a deep RB core.

I love having depth at RB, but not if it means starting Meachem and LaFell each week. Robinson/Moss might be ok . . . that's a pretty scary WR core after Maclin. I'd initiate some trade talk with owners that are stacked at WR and thin at RB.
