That was definitely pass interference, but I will take it. Overall, looked like a stereotypical South Carolina opener to me. Last season it looked more like we had gotten away from playing down to teams, but obviously not. That being said, Vanderbilt this year is much better than past versions. Hopefully James Franklin upsets a few SEC East brethren(particularly Georgia) and gets hired away somewhere else so I don't have to worry near as much about Vanderbilt. The SEC doesn't need a competitive Vandy to **** things up further.

I wouldn't take this game as the norm. He ran just as much last season and didn't get hurt. He happened to take a bad hit this game, and his sliding technique may be tweaked because of it, but overall I am not that concerned about future injuries for Shaw, given his status as a running quarterback.
