I did it once a few years ago while having no intentions of getting back together. It was momentarily gratifying and then pretty regrettable fairly directly after. Buuuut now that I'm a few years removed and don't care/see her anymore...worth it.

That really sucks man, but at your age relationships shouldn't be lasting 2 and a half years. You're both still growing and changing way too much to stay perfect for each other, especially through the coming years.

For the next few years, you are going to want to maximize your earning potential by mastering a trade, going to school, or winning the lottery.

You also want to avoid any major STDs.

Get a first 'real' relationship, move in to an apartment together, and play house.

When you are in your mid-late 20s you will realize that you hate her or want someone hotter/more intelligent/nicer. This is when you use your knowledge, your lack of AIDS, and your experience to make your next gf your wife.

Anything up until that point is just wasting time. Try and enjoy it the best you can and don't take all the bull**** that's going to happen to you too personally. Its just kids playing. Nobody realizes the important stuff until they are damn near 30.

I usually just rock a stache and goatee cuz I can't grow a full beard but I'll rock stubble every now and then and they seem to like rubbing it haha

Girls will like anything if you're reasonably good looking and charismatic. I've got long hair that I keep in a bun and a full beard that I trim, and yet I do way better than someone as douchey as me should.

Sorry, SP. I know the feeling and it totally sucks. That said, HS relationships almost never work out and they quite often end via cheating during college when the guy wastes his entire freshman year being loyal. So, despite what it feels like, this is a win.

Yah. I havent had a beard in so long, and when I used to when I was a bit younger...no girls would approach. Granted, I couldnt grow a great man beard like I am now. lol. But now...jesus. I go to this party yesterday, some cute girl was doing some sneaky, like two feet away texting with these other girls there, saying that I was hot and she wanted to make out with me if I was single. So okay, whatever. Then...I go to the local club for a bit, talk to a few new people, see some old faces I havent seen in a while, go home sleep. Next morning blown the hell up on the FB. With like 4 new friend requests from girls and like 6 messages, asking if I'm single or how cute I look, one asking if I wanted to just ****. ******* beard magic, and it's the opposite of what I want right now.

I'm still hung up to a point on my ex, have a bit of a thing for another girl...not looking to add more to the mix right now. Really, I just want to watch ******* football by myself and get a better job. ha.
