Never said you didn't have talent, if you've been paying attention, I've done nothing but really compliment the bucs.

Oh no doubt. Didn't mean it in a negative way but I'm just saying don't overlook the bucs talent. They don't have that joke of a coaching staff anymore. I just think the lack of experience hurts them again NYG.

Stats of the week from TMQ. Always interesting:
Quote:
Stats of the Week No. 1: New England, which won its opener, has a league-best streak of nine opener victories.
Stats of the Week No. 2: Cleveland, which lost its opener, has a league-worst streak of eight opener defeats.
Stats of the Week No. 3: In its past 18 games, the Pittsburgh secondary has allowed four completions of at least 40 yards. Two of them were to Demaryius Thomas of Denver.
Stats of the Week No. 4: After finishing last against rushing in 2011, the Buccaneers held Carolina to 10 yards rushing in their opener.
Stats of the Week No. 5: At 35-17, the Cowboys have the league's best opening-week record.
Stats of the Week No. 6: Consecutive Denver possession results, skipping a kneel-down to end the first half: 80-yard touchdown drive, 80-yard touchdown drive, 80-yard touchdown drive.
Stats of the Week No. 7: At 10-30, New Orleans has the league's worst opening-day record, except for the recent expansion teams.
Stats of the Week No. 8: Against the University of Arizona, Oklahoma State gained 636 yards on offense -- and lost by 21 points.
Stats of the Week No. 9: Against Saint Scholastica, quarterback Sam Durley of Eureka College had 508 fewer passing yards than in his previous game. See below.
Stats of the Week No. 10: Baltimore's nine consecutive division wins is the best such streak in the league.

Whose cereal did the 49ers piss in to make them start the season with two straight playoff teams from last year?

Eh, don't think Detroit is as a big a task as GB. They're a fringe, highly-inconsistent playoff team. SF will be more than OK

San Fran may be the best team in the league, with Baltimore Right there too. I dont know how much that is based off of Week 1 considering both were one play from the Super Bowl.

This is true. If I had to pick one of the two to favor a little more, I think I'm going with the 49ers over the long haul just slightly. The Ravens are missing Suggs which I think will hurt them at some point and the 49ers just feel deeper all across the board.
One thing is for sure, the Harbaughs can coach.

Dominic Raiola was afraid he was going to get flagged for being illegally downfield on the Lions game winning TD pass last week.

Hey, remember when John Elway and John Fox were "bad guys" for running Tebow out of town?
Yeah......lol

I don't know. I'm not as concerned about that compared to the schedule overall. Rodgers, Brees, and Brady all on the road. And then Culter, Manning, and Stafford come in here to San Francisco.

And remember when the Steelers defense was, yanno, not terrible? There was probably a solid decade there where they didn't allow 3 80 yard drives in one game, much less back to back to back.

Rough, but I think the Giants post week 5 schedule is the worst I've seen:
49ers, the suddenly not-bad Redskins, the already-beat-them-once Cowboys, Steelers, Bengals, bye, Packers, Redskins, Saints, Falcons, Ravens, Eagles.

Only the browns can take a plethora of draft picks from the julio jones trade and find a way to turn it into a running back and 30 year old rookie qb.

Trent has nothing to do with that trade. We got Phil Taylor, Greg Little, Owen Marecic, Brandon Weeden, and Travis Benjamin out of that deal.
A lot is still yet to be seen with these guys. I know it's "cool" to make fun of the Browns, but let's give them all more than 17 (or 1 for some of them) games before we write it off as LULZ-worthy. kthx

Regardless, you could have had good players. Instead you got 5 mediocre players, 1 of whom will probably survive beyond their rookie deal.

Loved this play from the Packers/49ers game.
And even though this didn't count, it was great to see the Rodgers wasn't just going to dominate with his rollouts and bootlegs and throw long bombs everywhere.
