I know I'm known more for knowing hipster music and that type of **** around these parts, but I do keep up with a few good rappers as well. If none of you have heard of Immortal Technique yet, check him out. His lyrics are as good as rap gets, IMO. He hasn't released new music in a while, but most of his rap that I've heard is pretty intense stuff. CunningLynguists are also a great group as well, their lyrics aren't as political as Immortal Technique. Jedi Mind Tricks are great as well. All of these groups have very strong lyrics to them, but CunningLynguists and Jedi Mind Tricks have more of a musical element to their music than Immortal Technique. If any of you haven't heard of any of these guys (I'm sure a lot of you have), I'd give them a listen, IMO, these are three of the best rap artists alive.
