There's no way they will be. They have far too many good players.

I think they will be. They haven't looked good at all before this game. They certainly could clear regulation, but I think they will be worried by the possibility all season long.

So far, so good for Fletcher. Nice work by Gardner on that one. I can get behind Sunderland, as much as all of you around here might dislike that.

**** you, McGee.
Also, lolerpool. I hope they do something dumb and sack Rodgers before he can implement his swag.

No team's chemistry will ever be that bad. QPR's players seem to like each other and they dumped Barton. Out captain was Michael Owen.....

Lol, that was such a horrible team. They weren't much less talented than our team now, how we went down is a disgrace to football.

Liverpool's refusal to score goals better not seep down to Samed Yesil. He had a terrible game by his standards for the youth team yesterday, on a normal day he'd have had a hattrick in the first half with the chances he ways creating...At least it looks like his path to the first team is less crowded than it was at Leverkusen...

I do not approve of this lolerpool tag :( Borini is just not cut out for this level at this time, Gerrard does not suit the system and Shelvey is largely ineffectual.
Getting Lucas back and a striker in January will fix a lot of these woes I think / hope.

Lucas is criminally underrated.

Agreed! A lot of people just think of the player who first arrived, who admittedly was a fish out of water as he adjusted, but now he is such an effective destroyer and passer and we are really missing him as we did last season.

It's okay UK Sterling-Yesil-Suarez will score tons of goals...next year...at least Allen's a stud in midfield and Lucas will be healthy eventually...

I wouldn't have thought so either, until I saw him missing goals he scores with his eyes closed yesterday. First game jitters and all, but he should've had a hattrick and if he were feeling it, could've had even more. I'm starting to think that your club is just cursed right now.

Possibly, with Man U next I can't imagine a rapid improvement any time soon either :(

Can't wait for Being: Liverpool. I don't really like Liverpool at all, but as an American the chance to get an insiders look at an English club is awesome. If anyone is interested, there is a pretty decent documentary on Netflix, The Four Year Plan, that shows the backroom dealings behind QPR's recent rise. Its not the same as Being: Liverpool as it focuses primarily on the owners rather than the players and coaches, although you do get some behind the scenes looks at that stuff from the owners perspective, but its still pretty interesting.

Hard game tomorrow. Hate having to wait for MNF.
If Everton were in their usual start-of-season slump, we'd probably win this, but it's gonna be a lot harder. If we play a stiff 442; we lose.

Yeah, I think we probably lose if we're in a 4-4-2 barring some HBA magic.
If we play a more fluid formation, we probably should get a draw. Winning at Goodison would be a surprise regardless of formation.

This is already looking like it's going to be a long day for Reading.

What I hate is rooting against Tim Howard. He's so awesome.
