Eazy Picks Week 2
Didnt do great last week, 9-7 SU, 8-8 ATS...but week 1 is always hard to predict..of course week 2 is tough also, teams are still shaking off the rust and its hard to say whats real and whats not yet.
Week 2 Picks
Chicago (1-0) at Green Bay (0-1)
Big-time rivalry game here and the Bears have a chance to put themselves in the driver seat for the divisional race. The Bears will need to establish the run to keep Green Bay’s pass-rushers off Cutler and Aaron Rodgers off the field.
SU Pick: Packers
ATS Pick: Packers -5
Arizona (1-0) at New England (1-0)
Bill Bellichick will try to pressure Kolb and get him to make some mistakes. Kolb will look to get the ball to Larry Fitzgerald, who should cause some serious matchup problems in the Pats secondary. With Adrian Wilson and Kherry Rhodes at safety and Daryl Washington at LB, the Cards have personal who can match up reasonably well with the Patriots tight ends, but it will be a moot point if they can’t get some pressure on Brady.
SU Pick: Patriots
ATS Pick: Cardinals +14
Oakland (0-1) at Miami (0-1)
The Raiders always seem to play terribly when they go on an east coast road trip. However, everything about this matchup says advantage Raiders. The Dolphins are going to have a hard time containing Darren McFadden and Ryan Tannehill could struggle against the pressure the Raiders defensive line will bring.
SU Pick: Raiders
ATS Pick: Raiders -1
Minnesota (1-0) at Indianapolis (0-1)
Going on the road to Chicago was a tough first game for Andrew Luck. At home against a Viking secondary that made Blaine Gabbert look good should give Luck a chance to get his confidence back. The Colts should be worried about Adrian Peterson running all over them, but Leslie Frazier probably isn’t comfortable giving Peterson 20+ carries yet, which could save the Colts.
SU Pick: Colts
ATS Pick: Colts +1
Houston (1-0) at Jacksonville (0-1)
Maurice Jones-Drew is back to starting for the Jaguars, but it might not help much against the Texan defense. Their front 7 is swarming against the run and Gabbert will have a hard time throwing against their secondary. Christian Ponder picked apart the Jacksonville secondary last week, so expect big games from Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson.
SU Pick: Texans
ATS Pick: Texans -7
Cleveland (0-1) at Cincinnati (0-1)
The battle for Ohio is on once again. The Browns will be without Joe Haden after he lost his appeal on his suspension, which means they could have a hard time matching up with AJ Green. The Browns will be hoping to get a lot more out of rookie Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson than last week.
SU Pick: Bengals
ATS Pick: Browns +7
Kansas City (0-1) at Buffalo (0-1)
Both teams are looking to bounce back from disheartening openers. While both teams are dealing with injuries to their pride, the Bills are also dealing with injuries to some key players. Buffalo will look for another big game from CJ Spiller in relief of Fred Jackson. The Chiefs will hope to get their run game going, but the Bills defense may dominate the trenches and force Cassel to beat them with his arm.
SU Pick: Bills
ATS Pick: Bills -3
Baltimore (1-0) at Philadelphia (1-0)
Based on how they played last week, the Ravens would be the obvious choice. However, the Ravens have made a bad habit of following up impressive home wins with head-scratching road losses. The Eagles have been maligned for their week 1 effort against the Browns and will have something to prove in this game.
SU Pick: Eagles
ATS Pick: Eagles -1
New Orleans (0-1) at Carolina (0-1)
The Saints defense struggled big time last week stopping Robert Griffin III, and they will face another dual threat QB this week in Cam Newton. The Panthers run game and offensive line play were very disappointing and they will look to get right against a Saint defense that doesn’t look too great. On the flipside, the Panthers defense could have a very hard time slowing down Drew Brees and co.
SU Pick: Panthers
ATS Pick: Panthers +3
Tampa Bay (1-0) at New York Giants (0-1)
The defending champs have had a week and a half to think about losing their opener to Dallas, and should play this game with more of a sense of urgency. However, they are banged up in the secondary and could struggle against the Bucs improved passing game. If the game should turn into a shootout, you have to like the Giants chances with Eli Manning behind center.
SU Pick: Giants
ATS Pick: Bucs +7
Dallas (1-0) at Seattle (0-1)
The Seahawks are one of the best home teams in the league and their defense matches up quite well with the Cowboys. DeMarco Murray will have a hard time getting going against a Seahawk defense that excels at stopping power runners and Romo could struggle against the Seahawks secondary. If Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch can make some plays, Seattle can come up with a big W.
SU Pick: Seahawks
ATS Pick: Seahawks +3
Washington (1-0) at St. Louis (0-1)
The Rams’ defense looked strong in their week 1 loss to the Lions and could pose more problems for Robert Griffin than the Saints. The big question will be if the Rams can give Sam Bradford enough protection to get going against a mediocre Washington secondary. A big game from Steven Jackson would certainly help.
SU Pick: Rams
ATS Pick: Rams +3
Tennessee (0-1) at San Diego (1-0)
The Chargers’ gave a lackluster performance in their opener, but won on account of the Raiders’ long-snapping problems. The Titans will have Kenny Britt and Jake Locker back in the lineup, and will look to bounce back from the drubbing the Patriots gave them last week.
SU Pick: Titans
ATS Pick: Titans +6
New York Jets (1-0) at Pittsburgh (0-1)
The big question is if Mark Sanchez can repeat his remarkable week 1 performance. The Steelers will be getting SS Ryan Clark and OLB James Harrison back, which should give their defense a boost. If Revis is unable to play, the Jets could have some issues matching up with the Steelers’ speedy receivers/
SU Pick: Steelers
ATS Pick: Jets +5
Detroit (1-0) at San Francisco (1-0)
Without any semblance of a run game, Matt Stafford will go into San Francisco looking to sling the ball all over the field. The reigning league MVP didn’t have much success doing that last week, but he wasn’t throwing the ball to Calvin Johnson. The 49ers will use their run game to control the clock and open up passing lanes and will let their pass-rushers loose on Stafford when Detroit has the ball. This game shouldn’t be close enough to warrant another fired up handshake by Jim Harbaugh
SU Pick: 49ers
ATS Pick: 49ers -7
Denver Broncos (1-0) at Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
The Falcon passing game is looking nasty, but the Broncos should be more worried about HB Michael Turner, who can exploit the Broncos’ weakness in the middle of their defense. Peyton Manning looked great last week and the Falcons just lost CB Brent Grimes for the season, so the Broncos should be able to score some points themselves. Of course, Peyton’s old friend CB Assante Samuel will be lurking in the Atlanta secondary.
SU Pick: Falcons
ATS Pick: Falcons -3

With KC getting Flowers and Hali back Fitz keeps throwing the ball to the other team like it's his job. We hear chants "draft a QB" by the 2nd Q. KC 31, Bills 17.

the Chiefs offensive line will not be dominated, even if the ends pin their ears back the draw with Jamaal will break open and I would also expect to see Dexter run some under neath routes will get a lot of YAC. Winston vs. Williams will be an interesting battle. in the middle, I full expect Asomoah, Hudson and Lilja to do more than an adequate job.
Flowers and Hali replace the two worst players on the field last week in Reeves and Studebaker.
I see the Chiefs winnings 34-23

Jamal sick or what he blew? Killed my fantasy team.
Well Dareus and Kyle killed it had 3 sacks. Again Mario and Anderson didn't do much pass rush wise Mario played the run well.
Hali was shut down by Glenn (I think we can agree he is an NFL LT)
I thought Flowers would pick at least 1 **** pass from Fitz. Some of his throws were flat out crap again this week.
Last week we played our CBs 10 yards off the WRs this week they played up which fits what Gilmore and Williams do best which is why I had no clue why we didn't do it last week.

I was sitting at the Tequila Barrell in Mexico where they have sports betting, thinking I should put some down on the Seahawks, but decided not to. Would have really helped my vacation fund....

yup and then the time you sack up and decide to bet on a game, everything goes wrong, and there goes the vacation fund...that just seems to be how it works, Ill be picking nothing but winners for weeks but the time I decide to throw some real money down, unpredictable stuff happens, muffed snaps, blocked kicks, dropped passes, missed tackles, bs penalties, the whole 9 yards.
