Mike Nolan is working wonders right now.

i'm not sold yet. manning can easily makes adjustments and be surgical in the second half.

our defense is playing at a much higher intensity under nolan.

i don't know if i'm being overly skeptical, but i feel like these are more bad throws by manning than our secondary playing well.

It really should, the offense really hasnt done anything to look unstoppable, too many dropped balls. With Denver having 4 turnovers and only down 13 doesnt seem too comforting.

If we can come out 2nd half and have a solid TD drive I will feel much better, need to keep this a 3 possession game at all costs.

Most importantly, we just need a W.

Just watched a bit of the game. Atlanta D looking pretty nasty. Just don't give that asshole Peyton a chance at a comeback. He enjoys comebacks against NFC South teams in the regular season.

Defense is really showing some passion, just the effort alone on the tackling as well as just trying to get pressure on Manning. Hasnt resulted in alot of sacks but the effort is great.

Our tackling has been solid as well.

The non ability to run the football is really going to hurt us this year if we cant find someone to carry the rock. Offense looked pretty meh tonight imo.

And for the love of christ get us a new punt returner that will actually field the ball, that alone has cost us a ton of yards for field position.

Defense has played great, but I'm concerned about the offense. We just can't run the ball, it's terrible.

We should run Snelling more. The running game has got to improve, we can't hold the lead if we can't run the ball.

Thoughts on the game:

Offense: The Good

1) Matt Ryan- I know we have believed in him before and hes been solid every year hes been here, but after what I have seen these past 2 games he has reached that point where he can do what he wants. His decision making has been great and I feel very good about him this year.

2) Pass Blocking- Its been superb so far, esp against a very good pass rush in the Denver D. I didn't expect much from this unit in terms of pass protection but I'll take it. Keep it up Sam Baker.

3) Roddy White- Really stepped up after Julio seemed to just vanish. Made some great catches and nice YAC yards. Big game against big time corners in big time setting

4) Playcalling- So far I can't complain too much. I've liked the mindset of the offense so far.

Offense: The bad

1) Lack of a run game- This needs to be addressed quickly. Turner simply cannot get the job done, hes too slow and too fat. We don't need much just someone to hit the hole hard and get positive yardage. Hes been horrible. Yes the O-line has to take some criticism for this as well.

2) Dropped balls- I hate leaving points on the field or killing key drives to simple things. The drops were not tough catches either. At least from Tony he let it go and made some great grabs later that was key. Julio has to learn to let it go, move on and make a big play next time, not vanish from the game.

3) taking advantage of turnovers/finishing the game- The offense didnt do a whole lot after the turnovers, we struggled to get a 1 yard TD with Turner, had to settle for FG after dropped TD, sputtered a few times, need to really take advantages of that. Also after being up 20-0 and 27-7, we just didnt put them away, I cant blame the defense for this at all b/c they played great and put us in great positions to score, the offense just couldnt run the ball when we needed and it made the game close when it shouldn't have been.

- Asante playing like Asante

Offense:
- Sam Baker looks like a franchise LT.
- Matty Ice is making great decisions.
- Tony Gonzalez is catching everything.

I like what we have seen from the first 2 weeks thus far.
