I just realized the Tigers don't play any one other than the Twins and Royals the rest of the year. If they made the schedule themselves they couldn't have set themselves up any better.

Ehhh, it's true to a point, but the Tigers have had issues with assuming victories over those two teams over the years.
It remains perplexing that Detroit could win the season series 12-6 over Chicago, but still be trailing the White Sox in the standings.

I can't speak for KC but you guys are 23-9 against the Twins over the last two years, you'll be fine.

I had my satisfactory mark for the Royals at 95 losses. Now I'm looking for them to keep it under 90.

God, I posted a month ago about the same thing when he tweeked a different injury. We are just not as good with Yadi out of the lineup. I don't look at WAR and stuff like that, but if his WAR isn't high, his WAR is full of ****. We just can't be without Yadi, everyone agreed with that. No one wants to run on him and he is no longer a below average hitter, so no one wants to face him. This would absolutely be a playoff busting loss if we are no longer have Yadi.

I just can't see the baseball writers NOT awarding him the MVP if he does it. As 'stupid' as we all seem to think it is. Hasn't happened since 1967 for christ's sakes.

Inge got a record that hadn't been done since Lou Gehrig.

Reds need to win tonight. I don't like the Dodgers hangin around. I'm already terrified of the Brewers.

I don't think the Dodgers have much of a chance either. It's going to the Cardinals or Brewers.

So Jake Odorizzi was "not bad" in his first start. 5 shut-out innings then kinda fell apart in the 6th. Then they used their 40-man roster for the bullpen rather than the normal staff and **** really got out of hand.

Okay, having Jake Odorizzi come up for a September look but not Wil Myers is legitimately the dumbest, most batshit insane front office decision when it comes to September call-ups I've ever seen.
