Good to see Pence have a couple good games in a row after it took him about a week to get settled. Loved the smackdown they gave St Lou last night in their own place behind Scutaro's (yes Scutaro) 7 RBIs, including a grand salami.

Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed that beat down, but games like that frustrate me when they go, say, 4 innings against Wainwright without a ******* base hit.

Or turnaround and lose 3-1 today.

MOTHER ******* MELKY!!!
At least they didn't sign him to a contract extension already.
That is all.

There were rumors, so the Pence trade & moving negotiations until after the season makes more sense.

Exactly. When I heard the rumors around the AS Break and then the Giants called off the negotiations right after, I knew something might be up.

It's on! If Lincecum is able to pitch steady in the postseason, I'd argue that this roster is overall more talented than the 2012 Champs. #OrangeOctober

The offense is definitely better as whole. The question is, if we get deep enough, does Melky play?

I believe I saw an update the other day that Melky isn't eligible for the postseason. I'll have to double check though.

I thought he would be eligible to return somewhere in the mid NLCS, if we make it that far

Not really surprising, it wouldn't fair to who's been playing Right Field already and Melky won't be in baseball shape.

This just in: Buster Posey is legit. Bring on the playoffs! The Reds will be a challenge but Bochy will out-manage Dusty and the G's consistent pitching and timely hitting will prevail.

Today's game was too much. Letting them get the tying/winning run to the plate in four straight innings was killing me

i'd rather play the Cardinals for the home field advantage. Even though they are way more experienced, i don't feel like we match up well with the Nat's.

So we're all in agreement that we want to see as little of Barry Zito as possible?
