Huge win for the programme.

The two Golden recruiting classes (or one and a half really) are obviously very talented and the right type of kids. They're just too young and inexperienced/physically underdeveloped yet to compete for 60 minutes.

What a difference Washington, Streeter et al would make on the two deep right now. =(

Golden sprinting out to the field to comfort Lewis shows what a great man he is. If any prospect's parents are watching that, it's a big tick in their book. He obviously cares about the players.

I really like golden. He's a good one. Great game day coach. Great recruiter. Appears to be as clean as the coach of a major cfb program could be.

man he has taken a major step forward in that department, compared to his time here.

That game was a blast. It would be nice if we could be more consistent on a drive to drive basis, but I guess I'll take those big plays. Speaking of big plays, I'm falling in love with this WR corps. Between Dorsett, Scott, Hurns, and Johnson....I love it.

Yea, still a ton of concerns going forward. Definitely a weak performance overall, everyone was wildly inconsistent (especially Fisch, not a good game by him at all). Got to love that team getting the win though. Defense forced 5 turnovers, Morris and the receivers stepped up big. Really an ugly game overall but the team keeps improving and keeps winning and that's what really matters. Defense is night and day from 3 weeks ago. We put up 44 points and really should have put up 20 more. IF this team can click on all cylinders (and maybe Have Denzel and Telemaque at 100%), they have a chance at 9-10 wins this year. Getting 8 from a team this young and inconsistent would be pretty darn good though.

If you watched the game you saw how bad it was. 3rd and goal at the end, Timmy Jernigan gets tackled from behind as Mike Glennon begins to brace for a sack. That was one of countless holds not called.

110/705/6 (6.35 per) rushing, 24/201/1 receiving, 22/779/2 KR, 1/1 8 yards TD passing. So good.

UM has decided to self impose another bowl ban, which includes the ACCCG if we make it to that. If we had beaten UVA this would have been tough, but with a 7-5/6-6 team it's definitely the right call.
