The show kinda just feels different to me. I'm still gonna watch though. The new blood is a simple way to inject some new life into the show even though I don't love the 2 guys really. I'm glad they have a full story for Jim already in motion. Eventually I think that other business takes off and he and Pam move away to a new life.

I have been kinda underwhelmed so far. Although to be fair I feel that way about Parks and Rec this season as well.

I actually think the first two episodes of this season have been a step up from last season. I really feel like you could completely get rid of season 8 and it would have very little difference on the whole show. But early this season, they seem to have a plan, especially with Jim and Pam, to wrap this thing up.

I've liked the first two episodes significantly more than anything that aired last season. I think Greg Daniels being back in charge of the show's final season will mean consistency and quality until the end here.

Yup. And apparently in a media conference call he said they will reveal the Scranton strangler at some point. I kinda want it to be Timothy Olyphant.

Another really good episode last night.
They've salvaged Nellie's character. Having her as a secondary office worker suits her. I enjoyed her continuing dynamic paired with Pam.
The new guys remain interesting and funny enough to justify their inclusion in the final season.
Andy hasn't been the true center of the show anymore with Jim/Pam taking that over. Good move.
Creed continues to get little moments of greatness.
And Daryl is getting screen time and plot momentum it seems. I just like that they've got multiple plot arcs in motion that are running at different paces.
And last night's Cold Open was greatness. Love when they still find good ways for Jim to prank Dwight. Reminded me of the hilarious one from last season when they debated whether Stanley had a mustache or not.

It's been pretty good. I don't think it's been as funny, but I've enjoyed it so far.

Am I in the minority when I say I really like the new guys? Granted I haven't seen the latest episode.

They're alright, but I can't stand most of the rest of the cast anymore. Andy needs to just die.

I cant stand the "New Jim". He's a boring character with not much of a personality.

I can't stand boss Andy he was better as a horrible salesmen, they should've went with Jim as being Michael's replace and being really bad at it.

They showed that he was improving as a salesman, but he was never close to being in Michael's range. I just mean his character has become so dreadful, and he's basically unforgivable after that thing with his fiancee last season.

Jim was a manager already and he was pretty bad at it. I like that he is getting a chance to escape in the end.

I dont understand why people stilll want Jim as the manager. Didnt you all see how horrible and out of place he was when he actually was the manager? Not his role.
But I gotta admit, picking Andy was...different, but I dont like him there either. Still shouldve been Daryl.

Andy being mean to Nellie needs to stop, it's not even close to being funny.

The only time I remember thinking Andy was funny was when he started telling at Toby. Now I know why Michael hated you so much.

"Toby, how are you not murdered every hour?"
Thought that was pretty funny from Andy.

Craig Robinson getting his own Greg Daniels-backed comedy:

Sounds fine to me.

Because Andy as manager is worse.
