Who the hell is Clyde Gates? I've literally never heard of him.

Our OL is solid. Jake is actually having a down year but Pouncey is playing lights out and John Jerry has resurrected his career and actually looks good. Martin has improved every week at RT. LG Richie Incognito is a shell of his former self though. If Atkins lines up against him, he should dominate.

Was Edmond Gates during the draft process.

Perhaps you know him as Edmond Gates? He was a raw speedster out of Abilene Christian that Miami drafted last year in the 4th round. I know a lot of people were really high on him because of his speed and being a small school guy. He made little to no progress as a football player in the last year though and Miami cut him in final cuts. Jets claimed him.

He got drafted in the 4th round by the Dolphins in 2011. He was a small school prospect that a lot of people liked. Miami cut him before this season started and the Jets claimed him off waivers.

Okay, I've heard of Edmond Gates. Still if he is one of your starting receivers, you might as well say **** it and run the triple option with Tim Tebow.

Just like they destroyed them in the regular season last year!
In all seriousness, should be a good game. Hopefully nothing crazy happens like the NFCCG. Ted Ginn is back but he did give the Giants an interception in the regular season last year. Hopefully Manningham has a big game.

Ugh. Came home and turned on the TV without changing the channel. It was still on ESPN this morning and they're debating some KC Star article saying that the NFL should make the Redskins stop going by that name because it's racially insensitive.
Maybe it should be changed, but getting all pissy and holier-than-thou on a sports show isn't the way to make that happen.
"It's Always Sunny..." reruns put me back in a happy place.

There is no way that anyone can know the history behind the redskins name and think it is racist in my opinion

Lesser names than than that have been forcibly changed in the past. One thing going for Redskins is Dan Snyder and his billions of dollars. That can hire quite a few lawyers to fight any legal action at least.
But if the league starts to get bothered about it, they could force a change.

There was a time when some people wanted to force my HS to change its mascot name because of the same BS. We were the SJB HS Braves...we kept our name but we had to redo some of the paintings around the school.

Traveling to San Fran and doing it without Cordy Glenn and Kraig Urbik. Could be another rough one.
Or the Bills win! Defense makes just enough stops for Leodis to return 4 punts for scores.

My school was the Spartans. It doesn't get much more badass than that for a mascot name. Let see the Greeks tell us to change it...

I have no doubt he will be double teamed all day. The rest of our DL has ranged from alright to very bad all season

in all seriousness, i'm terrified of the niners, i'm just making a statement of how the giants do it. i'd say that no matter what really good team we play after a **** loss and close win after playing down to our competition

How far down the line do you think the 49ers hand Kaepernick the reigns?
If cut by April 1st of next year Smith's 3/33 contract effectively becomes a 1/9 contract

Same for my high school. We're the Chieftains and we had to suddenly act like it was a celtic chieftain.
