Not sure if you are serious on that.

1. Robert Griffin
I've been a huge critic but the guy is looking ridiculously consistent. I didn't imagine the Shanahans would adpot so much of his college offense to ease his transition. The last possession against Tampa for the go ahead score, he was on a mission-very impressive.
2. Cam Newton
His numbers, record and sulking is misleading. Carolina made a big mistake by not adding anything to the offense this season. Smith a year older, Olsen overrated and hardly any other credible targets.
3. Andy Dalton
The under appreciated. Dalton is Matt Ryan with running ability. Of the top guys on this list, he's the guy who's made the best transition from his college offense to the pros-mastering the wco in 2 seasons.
4. Andrew Luck
Not exactly coming out the gates like the best QB prospect since Manning. Basically, he's looked like a rookie QB but has definitely flashed clutch throws, mobility and leadership worthy of all the hype.
5. Christian Ponder
Weakest arm of this bunch but he's managing things extremely well. It's still hard to see him as a long term solution but he's the guy ....till he gets injured again.
6. Brandon Weeden
A case of the numbers not telling the whole story-old man hasn't looked much different then Luck to this point. The two big differences are his lack of mobility and Reggie Wayne. He's flashed the mental toughness, arm and moxie to be the guy until his age catches up with him.... about 3 seasons.
7. Ryan Tannehill
Tannehill looked like a pro QB imo at A&M and the transition to the pros has been eased by his former coach as coordinator. He's having ups and downs but he was supposed to be much more of a project then what he's shown.
8. Russell Wilson
Preface-I haven't watched his last game against the Rams but it seems like Wilson hasn't mastered the Seattle offense and it's showing a lot more now than in the preseason. But he's probably still the guy for awhile in Seattle-I'm done betting against him.
9. Blaine Gabbert
Still doesn't look right at times but at least he's getting some of the back biters off him. Things spiraled out of control for him as a rookie, some of which were beyond his control, but Mularky is bringing him along well. Things would be interesting if Blackmon was playing nearer to a first WR off the board level.
10. Jake Locker
I don't know what everyone is seeing. He's pretty much exactly what his critics expected of him. He's got the running ability and a great arm but struggles with accuracy. Outside of a few beautiful bombs there's not much to like...even if he shakes the injury prone thing, which he won't.

Nice list for the youngsters. It should be real interesting to see how Luck and RG3 stack up 5 seasons down the road.Along with Locker and the rest of the group. It sure has been an inciting season for highlights .....

I would love to hear an explanation of how Locker would be behind guys like Weeden, Wilson, and Gabbert. The latter two especially. When he stays upright he's been pretty good. Also think you way underrate Luck.

Locker's like a slightly smarter Josh McCown.

McCown never had the abilities Locker does, nor did he ever look as good as Locker has when he's set his feet and kept his mechanics tight.

Lets remind some people not to drink the kool aid on some prospects after a qtr of a season. Remember Josh Freeman? After 2010 many analysts had him pegged to jump into the top ten echelon of qbs. Look at him now: ranked 30th on the nfl QBR only ahead of Weeden and Wilson, 2 rookies.

The bucs schedule that year inflated his stats.
RG3 is the real deal.He is way better than Newton in the intangibles department and way ahead of anyone else physically. The man is one of the best athletes(hurdler) and smartest people(Baylor coaches had to convince him not to enroll in the law school there, yet he still declared early) in the league. Shanahan made that trade to get him for a reason. People really underrate the super bowl winning coach these days. The offense the redskins run is the product of one of the most accomplished coaches in the NFL trying to revolutionize the game. RG3 is already my favorite player and a great role model, but unlike a vick(before jail) or mcnabb(just a douche) he is actually someone that can have a huge impact on his community. RG3 is the new elway. It's too early to say for sure but I wouldnt be surprised i a few years if it looks blasphemous that anyone could have passed on him in the draft.

Hm I wouldn't say it was the schedule. He was throwing to 2 rookie Wrs and a rookie rb.
I just can't figure out what went wrong in his development.

Done betting against Russell Wilson? you'd be 2 and 2 with one of the wins coming off probably the worst call in the history of the sport.
Having Luck at #4 is pretty strange.

If I was building a prototype id make him a little bigger.
RG3 is a guy everyone can root for because he is a good kid. I think that 4 games is a bit early to claim him to be consistent and to proclaim his greatness. Cam had the same thing last year and he has come back down to earth.
Calling him the new Elway is over the top. Elway was the best QB prospect pretty much ever. RG3 wasn't even the top qb taken in his own draft. RG3 doesn't even touch Elway's arm either, although no one really does.

Is that why he's vastly outperformed Gabbert?

Of those ten i'd say Newton and Locker are in the elite arm category, the rest being average.

I wouldn't put Newton in my top 3 of this list.
Dalton, RG3, and Luck over him. Not in that order.
