I can see how it is more annoying to have something rooted in modern day times, based on a real thing (the Navy) seem completely out of touch.
Firefly was a science fiction show. Based in the future. Not like it was claiming to be modern or current.

I was just being difficult.
I guess I can see being annoyed at how things are run on a show if you're actually in the Navy, or have worked on a Sub, but you have to have some sort of creative license when you're working on a TV show.

I mean, my dad worked on submarines and I don't really have a problem with it. Of course it's going to have flaws. It's a completely insane and fictional scenario that could never happen.

I thought it was good enough that i came back between commercials to watch what happened. Just wasn't feeling the overly cheesy, super serious omg acting the captain was doing in his message to Washington.

According to Robert Morse, it got weirder. lol. I forgot what show was it but whatever.
I honestly don't think Last Resort is all about the submarine at all. Missiles from submarine that is controlled by the submarine's captain. The rest of crew will deal all problems and survival works on this resort. Thus, the title. I think.

When Parks and Rec is good, it's really good. Homerun episode imo.

I agree. Parks was excellent. Jerry fumbling the papers at the end of the episode was an underrated moment.

Parks and Rec was excellent tonight.
Good moments for every character.

*shrug* I still enjoyed it in general and there were some simply amazing moments. But I tend to be more understanding of shows that I've been watching for a long time if they have less consistent greatness as the years wear on. I still loved the characters and there was enough awesomeness.

I am typically the same way but I thought last season and even season 3 went down hill to the point of not being able to watch it. The first two seasons had parts that had me laughing harder than any other show. (My mouth tastes like purple line quite possibly caused me to laugh the hardest I ever have.)
But the last few seasons just seem so bad in comparison. Its almost sad to see the show die like it has.

It's no where near that bad for me. It's not what it was, but it's still better than soooooooooooo many shows on tv. Plus there are moments that still make laugh my ass off, it's absolutely worth the 20 minutes.

Just finished watching Last Resort. Sam made a fatal mistake right there.

I loved the "Whats on my MIND GRAPES" line in 30 Rock. It killed me.

I think the first two seasons were brilliant, but it's easily my favorite comedy on TV

I didn't like the second episode of Last Resort as much as the pilot, but I was still entertained.
