It's human nature to like underdogs. I think that is why so many people liked Wilson and Weeden. They were "flawed" in comparison to the more typical QB prospects who are bigger and younger.
Anyway, I'd let Wilson run more. Why not? He's not RGIII or Mike Vick who you have millions of dollars and/or high draft picks invested in. Wilson could probably move the offense better if there were more run-pass options in there. He can make a simple read and if the guy isn't open, just run. And if you establish the threat of him running, it should lead to more guys being open for him to pass to.
And if he gets creamed...so what? Put in Matt Flynn and run a standard offense. They might end up doing that anyway before too long.

I'm pumped about this Seattle-New England game. I think this will be a huge test for the awesome Seattle defense.
I think they can come out of this game holding Tom Brady to less than 250 yards and maybe even zero touchdowns, and coming away with a 13-6 type of win.
If that happens, this defense is seriously legit.

Imagine how terrible the next Arizona/Seattle game is going to be. Two fantastic defenses against two horrific offenses. That game may literally come down to defensive scores and special teams plays.

Seriously just shut up already. I am starting to feel bad for Jets fans at this point. You guys need a new owner so badly.

are they actually not letting him run? my impression (yes, i've had to watch nearly every seahawks game this year, ugh) is that he just doesn't run. he'll have an open lane for a first, and pull up to throw an off-target pass to a wr who probably wouldn't have caught it anyways. i don't get it.

ugh. i mean, i don't doubt that the light could go on, and i wouldn't write him off forever, but he's not a good qb this year. he'd probably be in my bottom 3 out of the qbs currently starting.

Now that I say this watch him kill our defense and we lose.

Just take a look at the St. Louis - Arizona game. Same exact thing.

Should be more afraid of the 49ers D completely shutting the Giants O down, and possibly even sending Eli to the bench with a season-ending medical issue.

Nice to see Thumper is back.
And Scotty, tell Nicks to man up and play this week. I miss his ridiculously amazing 200 yard receiving games.

I just ignore him at this point. When your life gets to the point where you just keep making new accounts on a website to troll, it's pretty embarrassing and sad.
Trust me, I will. We need him out there. He's so damn good and his rapport with Eli is awesome. It looks like he may play, working out on the side today. It's a big game, so I know he REALLY wants to go, and we need him. We can't run on anyone outside of the Browns, let alone that front 7, so we're going to have to win it in the air with Eli-Nicks-Cruz.

Why? Why would we ever worry about Eli not being able to play every single game since he took the job from Kurt Warner? They may beat us, but they're not going to knock Eli out of the game, much less the season.

I swear if Sunday is the day Eli tears his ACL, I will hunt you down like Liam Nielson in Taken for jinxing him with this post.

Not doing it for you BBD?
He even looks zoned out in that picture. How fitting was it that when came in against Carolina, his first pass attempt resulted in a sack?

A lot of the giants are gunna get raped, couldn't even stop the browns offense or beat the Vickception eagles, the giants will be lucky to do better than the Bills or Jets did, Alex Smith is going to show Eli how to use Manningham properly etc. Just stupid **** from people that think they have a clue. It's gunna be a close game, one I expect the giants to win, but one that'll be close either way.

Even Carlos Rogers is trolling on Cruz for no reason. Rogers should just shut up considering how embarassed he got last year in the NFC Championship.
