O's magical season comes to an end the day after the A's. Not surprising, but still sucks, was definitely rooting for both of them.

Unbelievable. They were 1 strike away a bunch of times. Brutal.

The pussies should have never shut down Strasburg in the first place. They didn't deserve it.

I'm no expert, but you probably should have taken out your closer after he gave up two runs. He obviously wasn't on his game and was exhausted.

We haven't won a world series in 28 years you assholes. You won one in the 90s, Kyle. Shut your damn mouth.

Okay, you made the playoffs a hell of a lot more than the Tigers did. Sure this is their second consecutive LCS, but it's not so big of a deal as if they're the Yankees or Cardinals. THEY DESERVE IT DAMMIT, THIS ISN'T STATUS QUO.

The Tigers are by default the team to root for, or at least not actively root against.
That said, it's hard to get excited about a team that got where it is essentially by giving a pile of money to Cabrera and Fielder. How exciting and organic.
MLB needs more revenue sharing in such a big way.

After that, I'm done caring about sports on anything more than a casual level. It's pointless to vicariously live through a bunch of millionaires who don't know I exist, continually let me down, and get paid money to perform a children's game. If it's not the Titans come up a yard short in the Super Bowl, it's the Caps blowing a playoff series or the Nats struggling to find the strike zone for just one pitch. This is nothing more than a waste of time and money. Seriously, I'm done giving a **** about all of this. It's pointless. What do I get in return? Disappointment and sorrow? Screw that. If I spent half the time I spent on sports on my career, I would be making decent money by now. I'll still chit chat about NFL stuff, but I'm done seriously caring about this gigantic blackhole of resources.

My Braves lost in the wild card game in Chippers final season.....quit your bitching. The Nats will be back. If you can't handle teams losing then don't bother with sports at all.

We gave up our top two prospects and a good portion of the latter half of our top ten at the time for Cabrera and the albatross that was Willis, it wasn't exactly free.

And then you gave him a contract that was more than $20 million a year, something that only 1/3 of the teams in baseball could even think about doing.
The system is dreadfully broken.
