Not the best list out there, but decent. Just updated yesterday.
Run down of the top 25:
1) Nail Yakupov, W EDM
2) Vladimir Tarasenko, W STL
3) Dougie Hamilton, D BOS
4) Jonathan Huberdeau, C FLA
5) Mika Zibanejad, C OTT
6) Evgeni Kuznetsov, W WAS
7) Jaden Schwartz, W STL
8) Alex Galchenyuk, C MON
9) Sven Baerstchi, W CAL
10) Mikael Granlund, C MIN
11) Chris Kreider, W NYR
12) Ryan Murray, D, CBJ
13) Ryan Strome, C NYI
14) Brendan Smith, D DET
15) Brandon Gormley, D PHO
16) Morgan Rielly, D TOR
17) Mikhail Grigorenko, C BUF
18) Griffin Reinhart, D NYI
19) Mathew Dumba, D MIN
20) Jacob Markstrom, G FLA
21) Emerson Etem, W ANA
22) Justin Schultz, D EDM
23) Braden Holtby, G WAS
24) Filip Forsberg, W WAS
25) Charlie Coyle, W MIN
Thoughts? I like Chris Kreider, but #11 is way too high. Additionally, Jonas Brodin needs to be in the top 25.
The only way I will be ok with losing the whole season is if Ottawa ends up with a top 5 pick in June. This draft is shaping up to be so good it's not funny. Mackinnon, Jones, Monahan....and this guy:
SWDC's 3rd annual Swede of the Year, Elias Lindholm
Note the striking resemblance to Foppa.
Previous winner of this prestigious award:
2011:Gabriel Landeskog
2012:Sebastien Collberg

Markstrom is way too low...Dumba and Grigorenko among other being ahead of him makes the list suspect right away.
I can only Imagine the rest of the list is even worse. No Silfverberg in the top 25? I guess breaking Swedish records in both the regular and postseason, en route to winning MVP and a league title while captaining your team at 21 isn't enough to at least be ranked ahead of guys like Grigorenko, Etem, Coyle, Forsberg, etc...
It seems like they value the young guys over everyone else and completely undervalue all players who played in Europe. I mean even Yakupov at 1 is pretty questionable.

They don't have many contributors from hte west coast, so teams like San Jose and Colorado get largely ignored. So guys like Stefan Elliott don't even crack their top 50 players over some clearly inferior talents. PLus they have an unnecvessarily large boner for recent high draft picks, even if they're struggling or less proven than equal talents from previous years/later picks.

Henrique and Larsson for the Devils, too. Quite interested to see how Johansen fares in Springfield. He’s a prized piece moving forward for Columbus. Hoping to see some development in his game. More aggressiveness with the puck and more grit in particular.
Oh, and Kreider for the Whale. I won’t argue with getting to see that glorious man a few times on the cheap.
Adam is actually playing the wing, which was experimented with last year. He's on the top line with Hodgson and Corey Tropp, who potted a couple last night.
And really, there is a lot of talent on those wings. Kevin Porter is flanked by Marcus Foligno (stud) and Mark Mancari (AHL stud) on line 2. Then Zemgus comes in, and he will be fun to keep track of. Phil Varone is also damn good at that level, a nice quick forward and former Erie Otter.
Mark Pysyk, Brayden McNabb, and TJ Brennan are worth watching on defense.
Reigning MVP Cory Conacher leading the comeback for Syracuse last night was also fun to see. Always rooting for him.

Todd, your obvious jealousy of Grigorenko is adorable.
I have no problem with having Kreider and Baertschi in high regard. Nor do I mind Brodin being outside of the top 25 (on principle, not certain that I could name 25 that I prefer to him). But the list is still odd. 5-15 has a lot to disagree with and after that they seem to just start listing high picks from this past draft.
Sitting here re-watching 24/7 with the Pens and Caps, wondering when the next game will be. THIS IS WHAT IT HAS COME TO, BETTMAN! Hope you're happy, bruh.

Whenever the NHL does come back I probably will end up watching just to see how the Wild do, but I'm sure as hell never buying a ticket or paying for any merchandise ever again. Just absolutely pathetic.
If anyone's got NHL for 360 and would like to join a Connected GM mode that is pretty active and has lots of players on it let me know. I think there's a few GM spots open but if not you can definitely join my team(CBJ). Let me know GT is ELDUDERINO1165.
We could also start an SWDC one if we can get enough people together who can be active.
