Predict the playoff standings
6 weeks in (minus tonight's MNF game). Lets start our guesses.
NFC
1- Falcons
2- Bears
3- Giants
4- Seahawks
5- 49ers
6- Packers
Just missed: Vikings, Cardinals, Rams, Redskins
AFC
1- Texans
2- Ravens
3- Patriots
4- Broncos
5- Chargers
6- Dolphins
Just missed: Jets, Steelers, Bengals
AFC is a lot weaker than the NFC....after the Texans every team has a big question mark.

The AFC sucks. They should take 10 NFC teams.

Will anyone also be scared to have to go through the Georgia Dome to get to the Super Bowl?

Anyway, **** it, we'll do it live. I have no idea how the schedules look, so these are just the teams I think are best.
1. Giants
2. Bears
3. Niners
4. Falcons
5. Packers
6. Seahawks
Just out: Vikings
1. Texans
2. Patriots
3. Ravens
4. Broncos
5. Steelers
6. Chargers
Just out: Who cares?

NFL
1. Atlanta 13-3
2. Chicago 11-5
3. New York 10-6
4. Seattle 10-6
5. San Francisco 10-6
6. Green Bay 10-6
Just missed: Philadelphia 9-7, Dallas 9-7, Minnestoa 9-7
AFC
1. Houston 12-4
2. Baltimore 11-5
3. New England 11-5
4. Denver 10-6
5. San Diego 10-6
6. Buffalo 9-7
Just missed: I only pick Buffalo because I picked them in the beginning of the season. Truth is, outside of three teams, the AFC stinks and nobody deserves that 6th spot.

NFC:
1. Atlanta
2. Chicago
3. New York
4. San Francisco
5. Green Bay
6. Seattle
AFC:
1. Houston
2. New England
3. Baltimore
4. San Diego
5. Buffalo
6. Indianapolis
I think Buffalo and Indy have the easiest schedules out of the Jets, Steelers, Bengals and them. I think Buffalo and Indy both finish 9-7

NFC
1- Falcons
2- Giants
3- Packers
4- Niners
5- Bears
6- Eagles
Just missed: Seahawks, Cowboys, Vikes
AFC
1- Texans
2- Patriots
3- Ravens
4- Broncos
5- Chargers
6- Steelers
Just missed: Like 6 other AFC teams since the last spot will probably be an 8-8 team or something
just realized that the AFC has only 3 teams who have records OVER .500. Could drop to 2 if the Chargers lose tonight

Honestly the only team I'm scared of playing is Green Bay. I wish Atlanta was in the AFC, those 4-6 teams look weak.

As of now....
1) Falcons 12-4
2) 49ers 11-5
3) Giants 10-6
4) Packers 10-6
5) Eagles 10-6
6) Bears 9-7
1) Texans 12-4
2) Patriots 10-6
3) Broncos 10-6
4) Ravens 10-6
5) Chargers 9-7
6) Jets 9-7
Its scary that the Jets could actually make a bid for the AFC East if the Jets were not destroyed by injuries, including losing its two biggest playmakers on offense(Holmes) and defense(Revis).
I'd just love to see NYJ/DEN to see if Tebow trolls the team that let him go LOL That and NBC/CBS will be fighting so hard for that game and I'd imagine CBS will get that on Sunday.

NFC:
1. Atlanta (14-2)
2. Chicago (13-3)
3. New York (12-4)
4. Seattle (11-5)
WC1: San Francisco (11-5)
WC2: Green Bay (10-6)
AFC:
1. Houston (12-4)
2. New England (11-5)
3. Denver (10-6)
4. Baltimore (10-6)
WC1: Miami (10-6)
WC2: New York (9-7)
Right now, I don't see any possible scenario in which the Super Bowl matchup doesn't feature two of the following eight teams in some combination: Atlanta, Chicago, New York, San Franscisco, Green Bay (NFC) and New England, Houston, Denver (AFC).

Anybody listing the Bears with less than 12 wins is insane.
Their schedule is incredibly easy, and they have the best defense in the NFL. No way at all they lose more than 4 games this year, and I'd be shocked if they aren't at least 13-3, honestly.

Also my predictions are based solely on a healthy Polamalu throughout playoffs.

You know, I'm tired of hearing the "AFC sucks" notion.
Who the heck doesn't have question marks?
49ers - QB/offense woes
Bears - age at defense, OL, Cutler and his turnovers
Giants - Eli battles inconsistency, inconsistent defense
Seahawks - offense/passing game
Packers - OL/running game, Jennings injury, defense inconsistent
Falcons - horrible running game, defense ranked 21st in ypg allowed

This would be very surprising. I think only one team in the history of the NFL has started 0-3 in their division and come back to actually win the division. The rest of their division games are at home, but it would have to be the miracle of all miracles for them.
