If Kerry Wood used to do an "ivy double check" before every home game, then how the **** could he miss Andre Dawson for all these years. He must be the worst ivy double-checker of all time.

Really FOX? We get it. Bumgarner is a funny last name. Cool. Heard it about a billion times before today. Way to break the funny.

I like to call him the crazy hobo. Cause of Madison Bumgarner.
Edit - Please just let this day end. 49ers got destroyed, Giants getting destroyed, my little brother gets his phone stolen and, worst of all, all those rally tacos are catching up to me

Pistol, rope, or tall building. Such a tough decision.

Clearly the Giants do well whenever I am eating Mexican food. Too bad it didn't work for the 49ers today

Nice win tonight for the Cards.
Carpenter needs to have a solid outing tomorrow, our bullpen has pitched a crapload of innings the last few nights, could come back and hurt them later in this series.

You know "Pitching, Pitching, Pitching" is a key to playoff victory. It does not apply Yankees. "Shutout, Shutout, Shutout" is only thing that makes sense for Yankees.
Yankees' lineup is atrocious enough to have beaten by off street pitchers. Ugh!!

Do you really believe that? The heat as in he's going to get fired?

He won't be fired. Let media waste their time speculating anything against Girardi.
BTW, Red Sox is set to interview Tony Pena.

I know he won't be fired. Last night was just trying to get the bats going. Half the time he gets thrown out it works.

I can live with Baker as long as they don't bring back Rolen and Cairo, leave Stubbs in 8th spot if they continue to play him, and actually get a leadoff hitter in the offseason.

Rolen is retiring from what I understand and I'd be shocked if Cairo is brought back, he was decent two years ago but this year he was abysmal. Agreed on the lead off hitter though, if someone can get on base in front of Votto even somewhat consistently he'll be in the MVP discussion without a doubt.
EDIT: We should also get Rolen on the staff as soon as possible.
